Well, my last post was a look on how most people on the secularist side view religion. As for me, I support things like Atheism, Rationalism, Secularism and Secular Humanism because we should hold Superstition and Traditional beliefs accountable. Yet at the same time, I am a supporter of religion as a whole and Unitarianism because I view the anti-religious as a threat as much as the overtly religious. Both are assholes who want to make the world be a bunch of robots with one belief system and they shun unity through diversity. The religion debate is useless to me because nobody should believe in the same thing altogether. If you don't mind, let me finish by saying, Opinions are like assholes: everybody's got one.

clearly the OP doesn't understand history. Church taxes go to the LUTHERANS. The Catholics never shut up, the pope issued a ruling that it was okay to help communists if they were fighting to free Europe (russia) the pope at the time actually HELPED the English negotiate with German traitors for the Valkrie project (the plan to assassinate Hitler) The pope had edicts smuggled into Germany and worried so much of Nazis taking the Vatican he had left plans that should he be captured he would abdicate his throne and the Vatican would be re-established it Portugal.
Catholics did a lot of bad things to my people eons ago but seriously the modern church has done more for the world then most any group. Thy give educations to third world countries helped turn the africans from an illiterate race or feudal warmongers enslaved by muslms to literate modernizing civilizations. They feed the poor and help all sorts of people. Don't let you hatred of doctrine color this.

I support the Christian churches of Europe. Shocked?
Think of it like this. That wonderful bacteria we have all over our skin, Staphylococcus epidermidis, keeps the skin colonized and occupied so that other potentially pathogenic bacteria don't start growing on your skin. You know, like Necrotizing fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria).
Remove the Christian church from Europe, guess what comes in to fill the void? Islam (the world's flesh eating bacteria religion). So, in effect, Christian groups currently are a resistance (albeit somewhat weak) against the Islamic threat.

hehehehe just try to shut them down, than catholics who don't even practise will be up in arms..
not to mention the OP is wrong on many facts of this. Cathlics in every country (save china) follow the same exact rule laid out by the vatican.....and in numerous situations Nuns or Sisters can be superiors/bosses to priests,.......also the Catholic Church pays the salaries of the priest and nuns.......which generally is like 11,000 bucks a year. not state taxes, the catholic church constantly asks its members for money.....cause if they don't......they get none.
but hey being biased is fun right?
many problems of the catholic church.......these things u mention......not them.

Well, this is Islam. Any argument against that religion is automatically invalid.

Nobody cares. They don't belong in Germany. They were originally guest workers, who conveniently never left. The vast majority of them don't even hold citizenship.
Germany is not a multicultural country.

I can never really understand you Europeans, because you have such different ideas about nationality, what it means to really belong. As many problems as my country doubtless has, it doesn't have much of a problem with half-breeds like myself. Hell, we even have one as President.

That is what will destroy the US.

It's easy to look back on history and think that our divisions and struggles are a lot more serious and dangerous, but that's just because we're living them. I don't see any reason why we can't make it through like we have so many times before.

The situation in the US currently is unique. Politics have changed, and the objective of both major parties now heads in one direction: fascism. Demographic changes are also very important, as much as Faux and the Communist News Network like to downplay it.
In any case, Europe is a continent of nations; you must look at the definition of this in order to understand the difference between a nation and a country, like the US. Things just don't work the same; in European countries we have much stronger ties, because we have a common racial/ethnic background, as well as common cultural and historical ties that bind us together. Historically we have stuck together and defended our nations from outsiders. Being you are not part of any nation, it is understandably difficult for you to grasp what this means.

Anyone who doesn't believe in the old gods was just a guest and should be made to return to the land of their cultures' births, the Middle East. This would include the Jews, all Christians, and Muslims. This would leave us with only the pure Germans which unfortunately no longer exist making the country empty. I vote for us Americans to make an even bigger and better EuroDisney on the newly vacated land. We'll be sure to pay lip service to the old gods in our new megapark and luxury resorts.
On the same note all Americans who are white, yellow, black, Indian, Latino, and Middle Eastern should leave the US thus giving her back to her native tribes. You were only guests after all who have over stayed your welcome.

The US is one of several countries that could be called multinational, so I guess I kind of see what you're saying, but just because that's the case doesn't mean we're going to collapse anytime soon. And I don't really mind not being a part of any "nation" as you describe it, not that I can do anything about that anyway.
