  1. These people are going to jail for voluntarily viewing a live depiction of a minor engaging in adult acts. And so are you for watching it. As with the millions of people who had seen it on Youtube.

While some may consider it innocent, others see it as sexual, while it is counter-argued by those who see it innocent and then accusing those who see it sexual of corrupting innocent imagery when in fact the girl in question in the video is reenacting a dance style by a famous singer/dancer notorious for her raunchy music videos and dance style.

So, it may seem obvious that the video in question is a fuel for pedophilia as well as a form of art that is considered adorable by many. No one seemed to mind this girl dancing in such manner, then boldly stripping her skirt off halfway then continued her dance in a more wildly fashion.

They loathe people who force children to engage in sexual acts. Yet they show their approval for this act just because it is on national television. I wonder if this was filmed in a private dance room and shown on Youtube, would the reaction be the same?

And if I call it cute, what would that depict me as? A person who appreciates talent or a pedophile?

The conclusion would be that each to their own tastes and interpretations on what it truly is.

The number of hits for that video is rather interesting as well.

  5. It's those people who get turned on by these things that should be put to jail = ="... this is supposed to be considered art. She is just doing a dance routine, not trying to seduce some guy or trying to show off her sexuality. Sure, the dance moves may be a little bit suggestive, but then that doesn't mean she is trying to seduce anybody...

This and loli is completely different. Also, loli is best in 2D (like Michio said).

This video is really cute though =P...

The problem is that most people who are not familiar with Mexican, Columbian, and other hispanics cultures see their traditional dance as something... erotic.

Lol I am completely unfamiliar with Mexican/Columbian/hispanics culture yet when I see this, I don't see it as being... erotic... I guess it's also cuz like it's done by a kid. I mean, if you see a five year old take off her clothes to change, you wouldn't find that erotic as opposed to a 18 year old taking off her clothes to change, right?...

Under the Miller Test this is definitely not worth an arrest. Shown by the audience the average person does not see this as a sexually offensive act.

  11. Humans are hypocritical things, tho when it comes down to it we regulate adult "influence" on minors as a means to a end for population control.

As for pageantry..... its stupid on all levels unless the people in them have skills other than "pretty","blow&suck","bend over","spread em wide".....

Excuse me, but what, sir, are you talking about? How is influencing minors going to control the population?

Minors are easily controlled and abused so you make it difficult for them to engage in acts that will warp their personality. IE you keep them from drugs till their old enough to tell the difference between their head and their ass you keep them from sex(reasonably) as you you can lower poverty rates by removing teens from needlessly breeding or being used to flagrant sex.

Mind you the laws only minorly curve behavior but it dose wind up mitigating enough issues to be worth while. That said it can become stupid 1-2 years difference= statutory rape, teen/kid takes nude picture of themselfs= accessory to child porn, ect, ect, ect.
    /Incoherent intellectual

But I'll go back to my mine point laws are meant to curve bad behavior that hurts society.

  14. Those laws are inefficient. What would more efficiently curtail unwanted pregnancies among teens and at the same time prevent problems with the statutory rape issue would be to simply lower the age of consent to somewhere around 13-14, educate them about sex early on, and hand out birth control pills to students that ask for them. Problem solved.

Of course the conservatives, which number nearly the entire government, would be against the idea, but that's why I intend to get into politics and run for an office in the legislature once I retire from law.

It also gives parents maximum time to parent with the law on their side so its about as efficient as anything we do as a society.

I agree sex ed is the ebst way to handle sexuality/population control(number wise) and poverty by proxy the trouble is religious orgs are too naive and refuse to assist in taking care of the population boom that winds up giving them more fodder to fool.... oh wait their not naive they are only practicing smart business like the church always haz....*rolls eyes*

So you're saying you want like ban our culture? (latin here)
It's not my problem some people find it erotic, is their problem, so i think it's better if you go and seek the bastard insteed of trying to censure something that represents the culture of some humans in this world.

Why don't you try whinning at scientist? I heard the other day that they discovered how to read the mind or portrait the image in the mind of a person in the computer. I think if maybe everybody goes to the doctor to get a monthly scan of their brains and what they think and like this could be clear. Of course, i guess you're gonna cry over your rights of free speech and such. SO... I think you got my point.

I think it's better to act firmly straight forward to the criminals instead of banning content that mostly is unharful. Kill the bastards, not the content.

I dunn the US is known for beign prudish and has baned aspects of other cultures it has not liked. Some latin daces were baned, but its no worse than a ban of kissing or such in public other places do.
