    @dingo: Meiko's version of Dearest is not bad... one of the better renditions for Meiko, but it still sounds somewhat more mechanical as compared to Miku. Miku's version is. the. BEST. It sounds sooooo real Oo...

    @Marine-RX179: Well, when I was referring to Gackt's voice, I wasn't exactly referring to the quality of his voice, but rather the nature of it... I admit that Fuuga Naoto sounds good, but Gackt's voice has... idk, I think it's the nasal sound... that makes his words slightly lighter and more slurred in the end, making it sound more natural when linking words together in a sentence... Idk, I think it's just the overall characteristics of Gackt's voice, rather than how good his voice is... Owell, but I what I said about the best rendition of a Vocaloid back. That rendition dingo just posted of Dearest by Miku is the BEST I've ever heard. It sounds sooooo realistic... the metallic character of her voice disappeared and there is just so much quality put into it. If the author only put in breathing sounds, I would have mistaken it for a real person Oo...

    Yea you are right, I seen (well heard) that video quite a long time ago. That author is gone beyond the "Vocaloidmaster" level. Wish he could do covers for other famous songs of Miku such as Melt and 夕日坂 etc

    Personally I like the 夕日坂 sang by people (nico singers) more than the original Miku's version, as Miku's mechanical voice is just not delivering as well for such emotional song. I'm going to post うさ's (Usa's) version of 夕日坂 here, get some tissue ready for wiping tears off your eyes:
