I can't stand this site. You can't skip around in songs, not all the listed songs are playable, and I haven't really found any new artists from it.

well i have found a few new artists by using the site. if it wasnt for last fm i probably wouldnt have found out about Danger and now i am a fan of his music. anyways i would liket to join too even though i dont use last fm as much as most of you.

I have it set up to "scrobble"(whatever that means) all the music I listen to using a simple plugin from Foobar2000. Since I listen to most of my music from my computer, this isn't a problem.

It didn't sound like anything was not working from your post. It sounded more like you were expecting it to be pandora radio without the randomness, and it wasn't. Last.fm is basically only good for seeing what people listen to. At the very least, I haven't found any other uses for it.

It says right on the front page "Last.fm recommends music, videos and concerts based on what you listen to." Why would I expect anything different?
