    I've set up a gravatar, but I'd like to get rid of it and upload my avatar here or host it on site of my choice.

    from what I get you can only host it on gravatar. Don't see why it is such a big deal o.O... took me only five minutes to get it all down from not knowing what the heck gravatar was.

    I know. But Artefact said he might look into it if people don't like gravatar.

    Ok old thread but my Gravatar wasn't showing up because it was set as "PG" rated somewhat inadvertently. After I set it to "G" then it showed almost immediately. Odd that Sankaku would place such a restriction....

    i think that's because gravatar can be used for other sites n not just specifically for sancom.

    A note to anyone else digging this up - Gravatars have now been upplanted entirely by the on-site avatar system, although they still work.
