    This is all completely correct - I should add you can use your Gravatar on any site which supports them (all WordPress sites for a start).

    I've never been a huge fan of the gravatars, really... I prefer my avatars the classic portrait way.

    apparently it takes an hour or so for the both of us, i'd still like a traditional upload though.

    True that. It just makes it easier.

    Sometimes though, when the page refreshes, I get a glimpse of my avatar where the orange triangle is. It's furstrating ><.
