From what I've read, leveling the characters is realtively easy. The game will also have pvp which is great fun if you've got a regular group you're teaming up with. It's realm based, so you can chose to play as one of two races and those end up fighting each other in the pvp.
The game does have a subscription fee (something like €13/month). The graphics look incredible, very anime-stylized, so you'll need a decent pc to play it.

From what I can tell so far is that early leveling is easy. Quest give good exp, and sometimes extremely crazy amounts of exp which is a nice bonus for completing chain quest. I'd say grinding levels isn't really worth looking into, questing is much quicker. Some of the quest are grind quest to find drops off mobs anyways, you might as well kill two birds with one stone, the exp will stack up big time. I've heard a rumor that higher levels get a bit more extreme while leveling up, but of course I have yet to get a taste of that myself. There is a high probability it's going to drain the life out of you to get a level. PVP will probably keep being fun and exciting for a long while to come, it should take your mind off the stress of leveling. There are also PVE bosses which drop gear as well. (Rare spawns, world bosses.) Higher levels being difficult to advance is all speculation, but like any other MMO's I can guarantee that it's going to require time and dedication. Or.. if you want to half ass it, go for the casual approach.
