It's Cool To Capitalize Every Word In A Sentence. No Effort At All.
This is like asking me why I like fast food. Technically, it's not good for me, and really it doesn't taste that good, but the alternative is actually learning how to cook, and when it's a choice between effort and none at all, I choose whatever lets me stay lazy.
That's my life, right there. "Too much effort to live, so I'll just sit here."

Pic related. My reason for arriving here was originally the large lolicon community; however, I've come to appreciate a sense of closeness and openness that you don't feel in the larger anime sites. Plus, you get to have flame wars and not get b& hammered...how much better can it get?

Came first for the news, then the loli, now for fun.

Loli, mostly.
Then the traps came, which made it even better.Had an overall good feel to the site. Seemed like something to be a part of.
The layout was good. The articles were well worded. Ect.
It felt more like a cultural general site than just a blog. So I ended up keeping on coming back.Posted 6 years ago # -
Loli, and the company of cool, rational people. Not sure which is more important yet.

I searched, found, news topics which were of my interest and read them, as well watching the replies to them, then slowly I exposed my self, as I didn't wish to be considered an anon...
~ Then I discovered the colourful individuals that resided here, enjoying the witty comments and at times the deep intellect which resounded from them (as well).
~ then I searched more... and found the forums and so decided to remain.
Many people here are considered Friends, and I enjoy spending my time here amongst many here...

Why do I Love it? This site is actually 'Perfect' for me. No really. In my Anime Circle of friends alot of them are more 'Liberal' & PC and some are 'whipped' by women. The 'perversion' (fan service, pantsu, idols, sexual/harem humor) was often IN or on the surface of the Anime we'd watch but the girls would often spurn any frank talk about it. They indirectly would 'bully' the men into not endorsing it either.
Our group was a 'spin-off' of a community colleges "B-Film Society" group but then attracted more members and lost some of it's 'Perversion' and openness to Non-PC topics. During my tenure as Leader (in late 2005 and 2006) I introduced "Gantz", "Genshiken", "Maburaho", "Ghost Stories" (the joke edit) and tripled the attendance...but what I really wanted to know about was the 'HardCore' Otaku stuff. In our group we even got 'group' assigned "Genshiken-designations" - I am: Kousaka (and my 'club name' is "Flash")
Since I liked: Fighting Games, 3-D Playboy models, and Harem Anime I thought I'd be more 'Madarame'- but nobody sees me as that. I don't dress like an Otaku and I have alot of women friends so I guess even in Anime Clubs you get labels- lol.
This site has helped me find my 'Inner Madarame'. I love this site because it explains all the topics & perversions and Otaku obsessions my friends aren't willing to tell me or I don't know how to ask. This sites been VERY educational in learning the 'Sociology' or Cultural Rules of the English speaking Otaku. Artefact will get a Nobel nomination in a few years- lol.
