I know how you feel. I used to have fun playing with my little cousins because they are so adorable. After visiting Renchan in 2005, my perceptions have changed, and I no longer play with them like I used to, nor have the comfort of being around them like before. My friend and I also started to poke fun at lolicon. We would see a little girl across the street, and he will go "look, loli!"
Yet the issue is such a taboo that it is not to be discussed, and there is no rehabilitation centre to cure people of this complex either. Once you have a different perception of children, you are screwed beyond redemption, because no one bothers to cure you of your condition nor show sympathy of your ordeal. How ironic. People start hating you instead of helping you snap out of it, and they expect you to snap out of it before its too late.
Its not easy to go see a psychologist, because we will never be sure about the psychologist's mentality. He may file a police report based on his bias and emotions. Because Psychologists aren't taught to handle these things. This is the paranoia that these victims often face.

Buddha isn't fat. What you are referring to is the Laughing Buddha. The original Buddha Siddharta Gautama is skinny and young. The "fat" buddha is a design that was made by superstitious chinese which deviated from the original teachings of Siddharta Gautama.
It sometimes angers me when ignorant Americans make jokes about the Buddha being fat, when in actuality he is not at all. Especially in Anger Management. I get the joke, but I don't find it funny because we worship a completely different Buddha.
