I find her rather attractive myself. But yeah i too like the face of a beautiful woman for some reason it seems to be one of the most beautiful parts of a female to me.

I can just close that thread and redirect him to the old one. Not really a problem.

Some stuff I found on some random chap's Deviant Art page ~ http://brokenpuppy.deviantart.com/
I know they're not asain and are less kawai an' whatnot because of it, but I like the photographer's style.
Very nicely composed indeed.
Meh, they kinda look weird when they're here for some reason. Like they're bigger or something.
Maybe the composition is messed up by having all a rather open looking white border instead of a closed and pensive looking gray border like deviant art has. *shrug*
Just a guess.

To be honest, I'm really not much for those faces.↑ You gave the reason quite nicely, too. When it comes to beauty in the west, there's absolutely no cuteness involved. Not in mainstream culture anyway. And those portraits are excellent examples of mainstream culture photography, which focuses on confident women rather than appeal through kawaii. It's too bad, really.

I wish they'd combine sometime and learn something from each other. :/

I'm not sure how well cold looks and cuteness would combine.

Hm. Yeah I suppose.
I'm just all for evolution in general and I'm kinda not thinking.

Most "residents" of a board do have a problem with that. If someone decides to make a new thread to not revive an old one, they link to the old one like they should have done that. Had they done that originally, they'll bitch about "necromancy." My point is there's no reason for anyone to get pissy when someone does either of the two. It's not like it inconveniences them or anything.

It's too bad, really. That is so true. Thanks for the observation. :) Although I do feel like some American subcultures are now leaning towards the kawaii... I remember Hot Topic used to be like all emo and punk. And now there's all this Hello Kitty and Japan-related stuff. Sites like ModCloth are definitely becoming popular. I really want these subcultures and styles to spread! ^^ Maybe it's cuz I'm so tired of living with people who are the epitome of sheltered, close-minded Americans. :(
