Yeah, those two countries and a few others are pretty harsh when it comes to religion, but don't get the impression that every Muslim-majority country is like that. Some of them are pretty decent places to live actually.

It doesn't matter, if an Islamic population gains control, they will support Sharia. I've made this point a couple of times.
Call the Muslims themselves moderate/extreme/whatever, but if they do believe in Islam, they will submit to such a code.

Fair enough. In my mind, immigrants should be prepared to accept the customs and laws of their new country as a condition of their immigration, no matter where they're from. It's not as much of a problem here in the US, though we do have a lot of people immigrating who don't feel like learning English...
