Nah they can't cant have sex until their wives are of legal age.
it's pretty much like arranged marriages without the waiting.but during this time they "raise" their wives to do "womens activities" around the house, like any ancient traditions it's a blow to womens rights.

in what country? In Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and pre-war afgahnistan it was 8. Gaza's goevernment is still different from that of the progressive West bank or israel proper. It's Sharia.

In Iran and Saudi Arabia it was 8 but the age of consent has since been raised to 13 under marriage. i'm not familiar with yemens or afghanistans. but with saudi arabia as a bordering islamic state i would assume its religious legal precedent was passed on.
but you're right with an isolated gaza and its conservative "govt" they might not have adopted the same precedent.Posted 6 years ago #
