I have been reading this for a while.. and it has become one of my favorite mangas.. I would recommend this to you guys if you haven't already read it..

Saw the raws last year. It was pretty cool.
Of course, when I saw it, everyone called it Fap Note: Kurosawa of the Girl's Bathroom, as that is a far better name.

The only problem with the death note reference is it only applies to the first volume or so. After that the whole focus of the manga shifts into more of a school drama. For that same reason, the first volume is far more memorable to the reader and they tend to forget that the manga was intended by its author to be centered around the semi-normal lives of the students post-fap-note.

Not really.. I personally find the second part of the story far more gripping than the first part ~ At the start I only continued to read it because I was amused by how he reminded me of Kira ~ but when when things began to change.. That is when it got interesting for me ~
If I remember correctly chapter 18 +..
edit. Ah sorry I didn't read your post properly.. ~ Yeah, I agree kind of ~ The death note similarity slowly dims down, but to me it shows how the guy is slowly changing/growing as the story progresses..

Well yeah, but seriously, after that fapnote part it's just some emo drama, not even a good one.
I'm actually more interested in the artist "Yoko" who seems to have drawn this. Can't really find more information on her, does somebody know something?
All I know is that he did some doujin in the past, which I found when I was searching to find whether he had any other works ~
Not sure how reliable that is though ~ Didn't find them in the end, and I wasn't able to even find out what their names were ~

Sorry...didn't meant to be a spoiler. Though your analogy to Toradora isn't bad...I found only the first few chaper enjoyable.

I'm confused as to how anything anyone said in this thread spoiled anyone in any way. Saying something like "Eva gets really psychotic at the end" can hardly be considered a spoiler. If you don't want to read it because you now know that it turns into a school drama, then that's not being spoiled, that's just having an aversion towards a specific genre.
