    Wild...I have to say this group of 'Fascinating People' did explain to me where the 'confusion' lies for some. I.E. I have no probs looking at: Asuka (Eva), Rin Tosaka, or Haruhi or Kokoa Shuzen (Rosario + Vampire)- cause they atleast have the bodies of a women who could 'appear' to be Legal- plus, they are 'fictional' and you can imagine she's whatever age or maturity level you want.

    100 years ago men could marry a female who was 15 or 16 years of age, especially in less populated or rural areas cause you needed to start a family early and life expectancy was like 35-40? (if you were healthy). As one person said to me- If there's 'Grass on the field - it's time to Play Ball' (in relation to a women who hit puberty and was on viable Breeding Age). I can see the attraction a 16 year old women has but I would just rather wait till she 'matured' a little more.

    This is the difference between a 15-18 year old and a 8-11 year old Loli - The Pre-Puberty flat chested tweens (whatever) are really OFF-Limits and it is fuckin' disgusting to even think about a 'fantasy' with that- fuckin' Gross! I can't fathom how one rationalizes the thought process alone.     Well let's see. I do live in a very bad area, and besides the
    History channel, i've spoken to convicts who are currently on
    parole for a bunch of felonies. And believe me, if they read some
    of the shit i've read in the criteria lately, they'd be as upset
    as me.

    And why would i wanna understand the hardened mind of a pedophile
    when the person itself labeled as a 'pedophile' is enough to tell
    me what goes on in that sick mind of theirs?

    Also, my criminal record consists of a bunch of silly misdemeanors

    I like boobs and post-pubescent sexual features in real women just as much as the next regular guy (but fantasy is on a different stage, and the value of human curiosity is too important to limit anything there at all). Alas, fantasy doesn't appear to be the focus of this topic.

    Pedophobia, which seems to be what Loli_Star is expressing he's contracted, is this topic's concern.

    First off, someone who has an authentic case of pedophilia (forget 2D loli, ephebophilia, hebephilia, etc.) but never acts on those impulses, is simply better than the average person. Because they've been tested, and have had to learn how to control themselves. A disgusting number of regular people who have perfectly regular impulses completely suck at doing this.

    I do agree that child molestation creates victims and therefore should be punished, however this is not because human are innately wired to end up emotionally and psychologically ruined after they've had sexual contact while still a child.

    No, it's wrong because our present cultural iteration has invented the very concept of the "victim mentality", ironically due to our love to fantasize. It makes better stories, better TV to consume, when characters isolate some violent or sexual event in their lives and petition the audience for sympathy and attention by masochistically abusing their own Ego and deciding on their own that it was "traumatic".

    Trauma (hyperventilation, psychosis, etc.) is, frankly, completely your own fault if you push yourself into experiencing it, or if you have such an unchecked Ego that you can't help feeling it. This is real life. In real life you don't get back the time that you've wasted worrying about something that happened years ago.

    Since we're talking about children, sure, it's reasonable to suggest that they're too young and dumb to have learned how to control their own reactions to experiences in life. The flaw in that logic is that, as stated above, humans don't innately turn into emotional goo when they engage in sexual contact at any age.

    But they will when their culture tells them it is their role to.

    Your own thoughts are entirely your own responsibility. We do not come intrinsically pre-wired to fall into pieces when something we later re-interpret as tragic occurs.
