   Hello!

   Nice to meet you dear reader, I'm Whispertell.

   My question today surrounds one topic in particular: Where in the world is Lolicon/Shotacon actually legal, or rather - Where is it not? Does anyone know?

   I'm not a huge consumer of course, but I figure it'd be handy to know whether or not it's actually a crime to be browsing forums like this. I would that that it would be covered by Freedom of Speech in most countries, but you never know. I know it's a bit of a heavy topic that people might not be too happy to discuss, but I'm genuinely curious. You hear a lot of people saying conflicting things after all.

   Judging by the popularity and continued existence of this site and sites like it, I'd say that it seems my question might already have been answered, but still! Better safe than sorry, especially when you're an anime-amateur like myself. ^^'

   I'm from Denmark myself, if that helps answer the question. :)

   Uhm.. I was hoping for more constructive answers. While I suppose this is just trolling, I suppose it's worth mentioning that I'm more of a milf-consumer, but simply curious.

   I suggest taking your computer down to the local police station and showing them your loli collection. They'll tell you whether it's illegal or not.

   If you don't want to do that, it's a little more complicated: this is a grey area in most jurisdictions because the people writing child porn laws usually didn't expect that drawings of naked children would ever be that popular as wank material. Often, the laws are written ambiguously, using words like "depiction", so it isn't clear whether they're talking about real photos and films only, or artwork depicting imaginary children. It's often up to a judge to decide whether drawings count.

   IIRC, Denmark had very lenient porn laws back in the day, which led to people producing stuff like this. Dunno what things there are like now tho.

   Well, bestiality was banned in Denmark earlier this year, although (real) porn with it was apparently not. I'd say that the laws are still fairly lenient.

   But as I mentioned in my top post: Sites like this would likely not get to exist and be as popular if the content was genuinely considered illegal. I'm just curious.
