   I was gonna post on the Question of the Day thread, but I felt there's enough material for a thread of its own.

   So I watch a LOT of crime shows and read a lot on the subject, I love everything about unsolved crimes, and often wonder about how keeping your mouth shut is the best way to get away with it, and also how stupid and crooked the process of interrogation and "capturing" someone can be, and also how laws that were meant to protect people from wrong prosecution, often help the known culprit to never being arrested.

   So, lets talk crime!

   What are some of your favorite cold cases?
   At what point should they give up and move on to new cases?
   Should cases like Jack The Ripper still be investigated, using tax moneys?
   Should someone be convicted solely on circumstantial evidence?
   Should there be a murder charge, if there's no body?
   Who got away with it? Who was wrongly convicted?
   What's the dumbest thing you feel society thinks is a crime?
   Which such "crimes" do you see decriminalized in the near/long future?

   and so on and so forth

   as per usual, the mods may close at will, but lets give it a bit of a trial :3

    anyways, I feel old ass cases where everyone involve is likely dead, should be closed and/or investigated privatly, and not waste tax moneys on it.

    Jack The Ripper is long deaded, even if one subscribes to the theory that he/she/they moved to Murrica and continued murdering, he/she/they got away with it, and finding out who dun'it won't change a thing.

    At this point is more of a bragging right to be the one who figures it out, but no justice will come out of it

    "Mediterranean" is a separate category for things like police descriptions.

    I am Mexican as far back as my grandparents on both sides, my greatgrandparents we're not sure on some. One for sure was Mexican, another is rumored to have been (at least partly) Italian and another from Spain

    my grandparents on my dad's side were both pale as fuck, and my grandma was chunky with blue eyes, and my grandpa was green eyed (he was tanned from farming all his life, but if you caught him pantless he had milky pale legs lol)

    so if am mestizo its pretty diluted, and although I've got a hank hill tan, am not anime white, but am not classic mexican brown either. All the police tickets I've ever gotten they mark me as white, and I've been marked as such in school and hospital documents (white/hispanic-white)

    they were born in 1920 and 1922, and grandpa dissapeared for a year in the early 1940s, so maybe.

    as for Zimmerman, he surely has made it clear over the years that he does not give a fuck about what he did, and indeed wanted to kill the dude, and is indeed a racist fuck.
