I really have no idea. One moment I had them in my hand. The next moment they were gone. I also had the dogs leash in my hands. But if I did drop them, I would've heard the keys fall on the pavement. New house has a key for the fence gate and it's a big bulky one. I went back straight away to look after I noticed it (maybe 20-30 meters after I noticed it). But they were nowhere to be found.
Some ninja must have taken em.

If you were holding your key when you entered your home with your dog, you might have put your key where you keep the dog leash. This has happened to me almost a dozen times.
