   Sankaku Contest #1

   Welcome to the first (and possibly last, depending on how things go) (un)official Sankaku Contest, or SanCon for short! Clever, I know. What is this kind of thread about? Pitting you against each other in a randomly chosen competition to be the very best and earn one of the not-so-wonderful rewards. But more importantly, have fun!

   Theme:

   This time's contest is... karaoke! More precisely, sing one of your favourite anime songs.
   Your entries in this subject will be judged by [xxx], [yyy] and I. (fields to fill in later)
   Theme-specific rule: the chosen song must be at least 1 minute and 30 seconds.

   General Rules:

   The rules are as follow and are subject to change in the future:

   1. You must be a regular at these forums.
   2. You must have a valid home address should the prizes be material.
   3. You must have a valid Paypal account should the prizes be money.
   4. No cheating or be banned from future events. (Not from the forums)
   5. No flaming, trolling, abuse, etc.
   6. Only one entry per person.
   7. No age restriction.
   8. The time period is two weeks from the day it started.
   9. Respect the authorities.
   10. This is the most important rule of all: Have fun!

   Rewards:

   This time's prizes are...:

   #1. 30€ (the money will be sent as an equivalent in your currency)
   #2. 20€
   #3. 10€
   Everyone else gets... the pleasure of having participated. And lots of fun! I hope.

   Random information:

   - If things go well, I have a possibility to secure prizes, meaning prizes from sellers or whatever, for free. For you.
   - Not a regular, but wanting to participate? Nothing can be done! For this contest anyway, but you can start now to be eligible for the next one!

   It's okay, I'm not forcing anyone to play~ And if it doesn't work then it doesn't work, but at least I would have tried to make something new, fun and interesting :3
   It's also going to be one thing off my to-do list

   I'm not sure in what way you find that appalling; that there are rewards, that it's money or that I'm the one giving them?
   Money was just easier to work with, especially for a first try. I need to see if this thing even works well before putting in big rewards. Ideally I want everyone to just do it for fun but I wanted to try something new

   They aren't this time, but if future contests, should there be any, reward winners with items then that's what this rule is for because I can't send stuff to your cardboard box

    I feel like I should explain a little bit more what this means

    If my contests get popular enough in the future for me to bother, I have the possibility to strike deals with 3rd parties like DLSite, DMM, MangaGamer, Funimation or Udon to name but a tiny few. Then long story short they'll give me free stuff that I can use in these contests to give to the winners.

    What do you mean platforms?

    Any of your favourite anime songs, doesn't matter if it's Japanese, I know some aren't. But if they are, do your best :3 That should provide some challenge, or not. Either way I'm totally looking forward to it~

    After seeing your other posts - why you gotta be so down-trodden & negative? Are you being serious or sarcastic with your "Death Note" suggestion? Lens is trying to do something inventive & fun & you're Sand-bagging the guy with meaningless drivel.
