Ah, my fault for not searching the forums good enough for your thread. I never really even thought to check Wal-mart or the mall. I figured I had to order them from a specialty store or even from Japan.

Pocky is probably one of the most disgusting Japanese snacks I've ever tasted. I don't understand why the hell it's so overrated with the weeaboos.
Meiji > Glica
Edit: Hi Ero-Sennin ^^

Heya Mimi, and thanks for the tip. I guess I would like to try it anyway, but I'll take your advice and try Meiji chocolate too

Kinoko no yama, takenoko no sato, yan-yan, and tube-o-aporo are my top 4 recommendations when it comes to chocolate. You can get them (and Pocky) at any Asian supermarket out there.

Has anyone ever tried Pocky?I've had those before, but they were not called Pocky, it was more or less exactly the same, but a different name.
All I remember about them if they had a funny advert where a guy put a box of them on a high shelf, and then left..
Then a woman came in and climbed on the top of a copier machine to get them.. Then falls over and it makes scans from under her skirt.. Haha. :P

^ ^ Thanks Mimi for all the recommendations. It may have taken awhile to discover those brands on my own. I'll have to check them out.

Does Mikado's count ~

Yeah, I've had various flavours of Pocky - Tangerine, Blueberry, Strawberry (not the plain kind, the one with the little pieces on them), and Decora Pocky being my favorites. I'm not too fond of the plain chocolate.
I second Mimi that Aporo are great, those are better than Pocky in my opinion. I also like Coffee Beat, Hi-Chew, Caplico, and Milky.

In US central time today:
6:50 PM - I read this post.
7:05 PM - I go to the Mitsuwa Marketplace right next to me and buy Pocky for the first time. I purchase both the original and the "Men's" variety.
7:20 PM - I post about it for the first time. I'm surprised about the many flavors available. Men's is in semi-sweet chocolate. It tastes awesome; better than the regular, which is milk chocolate.PO-CKY!
Edit: Not to mention I also bought two of those wooden square cups for my sake. (Google tells me that it's called a masu.)
