Surely you can't just give your career a year and see how it pans out? Academia is definitely a valid career choice for you but as you've seen, it's for the prideful and can often get really really bitter. It takes a while to get a good idea as to what the hell you're doing in the work environment.
So my animal related classes are in English this whole year.
And I am truly disappointed by the level of English amongst the teachers. The teacher today tripped over so many words and sometimes went silent, we had to throw her the words to complete her sentences.
I don't mind lessons in English, more over, I actually prefer it. But at least have teachers who speak English sort of fluently.

I called a camel farm today to ask if we could do some animal welfare checks there. (without releasing anything to the public.)It's apparently the only camel farm for camel milk in the whole of europe. Would be quite cool if they allow us.
