I mean, a hard mode DLC would kinda make sense, even if it was complete exploitative bullshit. What kind of person is prepared to find and pay for DLC, but not prepared to actually play the game? (because that sounds more like "can't lose mode" than "easy mode")
It's a money making scheme to sucker casuals who feel entitled to be able to play the game and not have to grind. I don't care that a fool is separated from their money if it didn't encourage devs to push for more cash grab tactics that actually take away from the game.
Years from now, kids will ask their grand parents what 'Unlockables' are :P

I always like the way J-rpgs look. But the only one I've been able to play is Final Fantasy (something) on the PsP and Star Ocean a last hope on the old Xbox. (I might forget a few small games on the DS or something)
