So when MGS5 was just released, I checked out some gameplay on YouTube but all the players were still fumbling and bumbling and messing things up because of their inexperience.
Are there any recommended good MGS 5 Let's Plays out there? Which is your favourite?

It's pretty impossible not to fumble and mess things up imo.
Maybe it's because I'm using a PS3 controller for PC, but the controls are fucked. When you're in a panic, it's all too easy to dive or to change weapons instead of sprint away, due to the left stick influencing all of those things.
You might want to watch some S-rank guides.

Okay, but that's acceptable. The fumbling going on in the videos that appeared just after the release of the game was clearly different from the stuff you get because of difficult controls. Things like people not figuring out how to call your horse from a distance (even though it said how to right on the screen, ugh) or falling off a mountain ridge when trying to stealth up to a settlement.
But S-rank guides are actually a pretty good idea. Thanks!

The game has a ridiculous learning curve imo.
Metal Gear games have bad learning curves at the best of times, but with this one, it's impossible to not get killed every 20 seconds when you first start out, but after a while, it's just a joke. Reflex mode in particular allows you to get multiple headshots with the tranq pistol before the guards even call an alert.

Tbh I'm starting to think maybe I'm just too picky. I just started watching another Let's Play and the fact that the guy never uses CQC annoys me to no end. But to be fair, I suppose that's just because everyone has a different playing style. Maybe I'm just behaving like an armchair expert.
