I just beat it. The mission 118 version, anyway.
But I had to fuck up the AI pod and nearly all of the AI thingies that I got were for control. Very little for mobility or attack.

Ugh. So I was retaliatory infiltrating someone's FOB and was able to recover from being spotted on the first platform and managed to steal some resources and capture some soldiers. On the third platform almost out of decoys (which I had to use to stun soldiers because they were armored up so I couldn't tranq them) moving my way up when a soldier notices me. No worry, I'll be up this ladder before he can investigate. Oops, instead of climbing the ladder when I press A, Snake jumps off the railing, killing himself.

I have a really hard time going in stealthy.
I want a sniper with suppressor, but I assume bodies will become an issue then.
Still I have only completed 5 mission, and I keep getting a seriously bad score 'Chick' :-DI start by getting a good view and tagging as many enemies as I can. Then I pick the one most separated from the group, which still goes fine. Second and third one usually as well. But then it goes wrong. Buh. Game is hard. I'm not used to stealth, I like guns blazing haha.

The enemies in this game have much better vision than they do in most MGS games, so stealth is a pain in the arse.
The game is made easier by the fact that Big Boss can get shot 40 times and not die. It wasn't like this in MGS1.
Escaping is absurdly easy too, because of the open-world levels and Big Boss's incredible sprinting ability. I think I've broken the 400m world record with him.
