   I'm sure everyone will have read this by now, just wondering your thoughts about it.

   She says:

   "But all the members really tried hard for this, and agreed on the content of the new law!!!"

   Did they?

   "Possession will be banned, and be illegal!!! I’m grateful, so grateful. They thought of the children, I’m deeply moved."

   Did they indeed think of the imaginary children? >_>

   "They thought of the wishes of the people, and they worked hard didn’t they? Both parties promised me “We can’t manage it this session, but we’ll surely do it next.” I’m so grateful."

   If they agreed on the law, and said it will be banned and make possesstion illegal, and then went onto say that they will surely pass it next time, does that mean that thats it now?

   Lolicon will offically be banned and made illegal? It's just a matter of waiting till the next session? - (Talking about that, does anyone know how often they have said session? Being from England, I don't know a lot about Japans goverment.)

   I think she's a tragic type of person who assumes that intuitive preconceptions(such as that niche pornography will fuel desire to go out and experience the things depicted, in real life) are correct. These people are all around us, and there are probably many of us among them, but they will unfortunately always exist.

   She does indeed seem to think that, doesn't she? - I don't understand how someone can be like that though, by her thinking, if I watch a horror film, I'd instantly want to become a mass murderer, which, of course, just doesn't happen. When people finally realise that on one side we have reality, and on the other fiction, the world would be a better place.

   Sex criminals notoriously complicate the issue by making statements such as that they had to keep doing more extreme things to get their 'fix'. These days, it'd be hard to find a sheltered conservative who doesn't believe that sexual functions themselves can be dangerous.

   Yeah, very true. It's like when you read things on this site about sex crimes, and the person will say, when hes arrested, "Oh, I did this over 100 times!"

   Even though hes only being arrested for doing it once. Again, giving us men a bad name. And then that bad name breeds haters towards us, Agnes Chan for example.

   Something must have happened to her for her to be so.. Angry? Towards people who like pornography. She did, after all, used to be an idol. O.o

    She's being naive. If they were going to do something then they would have done it instead of talking about it. Obviously these restrictions are political suicide and they are stalling. If this bill was so important to the people then the politicians' inaction would be political suicide though that doesn't seem to be the case when they are passing the buck to another session. The thing about the end of a session in politics it is much like summer vacation. All of the inconsequential bullshit from the previous school year doesn't matter and is forgotten. With the way they are treating this it is sounding alot like insignificant fluff.
