I've no idea which thread I should post this on but I guess I'll turn it into a 'mixed feelings' thing. I need outside perspectives and advice. I'll try to spare some details.
I've been talking to this 17 y/o girl from Copenhagen for almost three months now(online). We talk everyday and she's gotten me into online games and series I currently enjoy with her.
but
I feel like she's been talking to me a little too much. I enjoy our conversations but I just can't let her spend my 24/7. I need a break. She even got me to download an IM app so we could talk even when she's in school. I make up excuses to be offline just so I could do other things in my life.
So yeah
How do I tell her to talk to me less without making her feel like she's a bother? We've been at it for over two months and I'd just feel bad if I told her to tone it down despite seeing how much fun she's having.

You could be straight-up honest with her, but it will hurt her a bit... or a lot, depending on how attached to you she'd become.

Here's my ADVICE for dealing with this situation:
Offer to get nude on cam for her
BUT! Turn off all the heating in the building before you do it. Open all the windows, turn on a fan and make the room really cold. Your dick should shrivel up and look tiny.
Hopefully, she'll notice this and lose interest in talking to you.

Started re-watching anime after 8 months of being off it.
Was hyped but now I kind of have mixed feelings of what to feel. It doesnt seem like I missed too many things. Content-wise I've already read/played the other version of the adapted forms. Though there are other original animes that came out, it doesn't seem to amount too much when accumulating total hours and preferences. Kinda late but you should give more information on your relationship, though thats a horrible idea considering the feedback you might get. Well thats a natural occurrence you have going on since it happens often, also it might be difficult to get the results you want without looking so indirect.
To be on the safe side, we'll go with the generalization that the girl has romantic feelings for you. Since I dont know whether or not if shes a female that acts bro, that youre really cool to be with, or something else entirely. So in generalization shes a high school girl that either fell in love or relies on you.
Also note that these are things based on my experience Ive had in these types of relationships sooo take it with a grain of salt and modify an option that might sound good for you
-If you two have a thing going on, lovers for example, then with her it would be good to be direct about it since its, from my experience, the thing thatll ruin the happy and passionate things later on.
-If youre just friends then its best to make some excuse like youre busy with something or what youve been doing. This might be a bad thing to say but because shes a high school girl, you can easily deceive her. With the intervals in days, you can reply whenever youre in the 'mood' or so. I cant say it develops nicely for you or her but its the best choice when adding the factor of why shes even talking to you.
-Theres also the other options where you can indirectly divert her to be more interested/addicted to something else. Subtly show that she needs to talk less to you or that youve lost interest in her this can be done with replying at long intervals and a tone that shows indifference. If shes actually relying you as an emotional support, uhm, i dont know try to be nice ... those events are actually horrible based on the ones Ive gone through and regret.
-I guess the last option would be to be a good guy and say it directly with deception. "Hey, I think you shouldnt talk to me that much anymore. I mean, you have your own life(high school) that you should take more priority to. And... I dont really want to distract you from that. We can still play games and chill together but you should really tone it done or else I might get worried and regret that Im affecting your life too much" Or something. You should paraphrase it to something that actually factors in to what you know about you and her's relationship and knowledge so that it fits perfectly. Also the bold words are what, as you might have guessed, brings the real importance of your goal: to make her actually sense the weight of talking too much.Since I dont know you, the girl, or the relationship you guys have, its better to accommodate advices or insights with what you know. Also you should go ask some reddit or other serious(lol) people. Though they may act like a bunch of people that act above things they actually know and make you cringe, theyll have better answers.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Thanks for the lengthy reply as well, tadano. My situation with Lea is pretty much bits of the different options you mentioned.
Nothing romantic involved, though. We're cool together as friends but she's got issues with some things in her life, especially about friendship. This is what made it hard for me to decide on what to do about it. I'm her emotional support aside from being her entertainment.
Anyway, I messed up.
For the past few days, I've been trying to talk to her less as Nin and everyone else suggested. It was hard for me to do so but yesterday afternoon, she straight out asked me if she was a bother to me. She got the message I've been trying to subtly send her.
Thing is, I immediately told her 'not at all'. She was skeptical at first but I assured her that I've just really been busy this week. She was then happy and relieved.
I'm a complete idiot. I got myself in this crappy situation. I ruined the chance I was waiting for and just strengthened her trust. I really can't see myself deliberately hurting her.
Sorry, guys. I couldn't follow up your advice.
