  15. that's overkill, imo the no-men zone between the koreas is the best border ever

fun fact (don't you love pantsu's fun facts?) when I was a shota, I visited bad korea (seoul) I might've mentioned this before. anyways, one day we took a trip to visit the border, but had to come back when we got there, we missplanned it and went on a holiday type deal, so the visitor center was closed.

at the time I didn't know anything about the koreas, so I didn't understand what a big deal it was to visit that border, but now that I do it bothers me that I didn't get a chance to enter. then again I was so dumb and ignorant (and a snarky ass teen) I might've started some international problem lolol. I remember one of the rules to visit was not to wear anything red, so of course I was wearing a red shirt under my sweater lolol

  18. A strange fact. Korea was divided by the Communists (and the US?). But today South Korea is the only one developed country that does not have a visa regime with Russia and they did not introduce sanctions. I can just sit at a plane and two hours later I will be in Seoul. Even with China we have a visa regime. And I must first deal with a package of documents to the Chinese Embassy.

Quasi neutrality. As a fact Russia wished weaken Britain and therefore supported the United States. I do not know so much what written in English wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Empire%E2%80%93United_States_relations
but russian sources say about supported.

And then in the time of Crimean War, before Siege of Petropavlovsk in the Far East the Consul General of Russia in the US received the news about preparing for an attack of Britain-French armies. English wiki does not say about it but russian says. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Petropavlovsk
