Yes. If it didn't, nicotine would be way ahead of all other drugs combined when it came to deaths. It would come top purely based on that stat.
Although it's hard to eliminate the effect of mass usage from the alcohol statistics, because a lot of the problems with alcohol happen because there are often lots of people drinking together, getting into fights and encouraging each other to do stupid things, whereas most other drugs are roughly equally harmful regardless of whether the user takes them on their own or as part of a group.
Social harms from alcohol increase exponentially as the number of drunk people in the same place increases linearly.

Omg...it's like this thread was made for me. Where to start.
Most recently I bought 80 dollars of kpins and a week ago took x and the DJ Blend rave and had a blast!!!! It was a Yellow Monkey.
There are three things infuriating about ecstasy.
1)Waiting for it to kick in and knowing that this pill could be a total dudd and a waste of 20 dollars.
2) Coming down. You have just felt what feels like a weeks worth of good emotions. Everything is 100% to the max positivity. It's physically and mentally exhausting at the end.
3)This is good and bad. You can't really abuse it because you build a tolerance to it incredibly fast. Plus that will fry your poor brain.Posted 3 years ago # -

I've heard that you're more likely to get the real thing if you get the powder rather than pills.
MDMA is expensive to make, so a lot of people just stick a load of cheap shit in there and pass it off as ecstasy. Same thing happens with LSD. And then someone dies and the media makes a scare story about the dangers of ecstasy and acid.
Of course, if the drugs were regulated like alcohol, this wouldn't happen...
