Here's a good one:
During a child kidnapping investigation that took place in Kotka, Finland, the police has found hundreds of images and some dozens of videos depicting child pornography and a sick video game, where the player commits sexual abuse to a mother and her 2 daughters from the perpetrator's computer. The 21-year-old man snatched a seemingly random 8-year-old girl into his van in the middle of day as she was coming home from school. Then he took her to his cabin and left her tied-up while he returned to work (the van belonged to the company he was working for).
The time and manner the kidnapping took place might've not been the most optimal one as there were eyewitnesses and he forgot to take the girl's cellphone with which she managed to call the police while tied in the cabin. Clearly not having learned the subtle arts of proper shibari and blackmail (the very basics of chikanjutsu,) his crude tactics got him arrested within hours.
One can only conclude that the game had nothing to do with the whole incident as he was obviously a total noob when it comes to sexual assault and child abuse.
