Capcom gave MH4 to the 3DS. Vita might get a MH 4th version, but as it stands now- it is an exclusive. Capcom has a lot of making up to do for their dealings with Nintendo in the past decade, TvC was a good start in my opinion though idiots not buying the game simply because it was on the wii hurt the title. They should give 3DS release though. I know a Gekitou Ninja Taisen title will end up on the 3DS, I don't want this series to be the only Nintendo specific third party fighter for the console.
Sony would have to commission titles like Nintendo did. Nintendo is even sending in house team members to complete projects at other company's with its staff on Wii U/3DS games. Sony is infamous for saying fuck that 3rd party, and then they go on to rely on those games to sell their consoles :/ It's finally biting them in the ass with the Vita. They neglected forming and keeping strong first party titles for years and now they have no titles for people to be excited about even off mere speculation.
Tomb Raider was theirs and Eidos - a stale franchise now
Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon - the latter being infinitely successful and neither are theirs anymore. Naughty Dog has full rights to both though they were develop under Sony's roof.
Sly Cooper - Good game franchise, but this will not sell PS Vita, especially the way they've been advertising it.
Rachet & Clank - I don't even know. Do people care about this tilte?
Jak & Daxter - I can say the same here. This was another baby with Naughty Dog but they kept their rights on this one.
Realm of Ico titles - Ueda's gone. The Last Guardian is the last game of the last extremely worthwhile Sony franchise.
Siren - Toyama gave us Gravity Daze, Siren doesn't sell good in the US, which is important- it's not going to sell Vitas here. It won't even in Japan. They really should make one for the console however, there is a lot of elements of gameplay that can come from the functions of the vita. Motion sensory, the touch screen, the mic, even the back touch can be used in a title like this. 2-Player gameplay without breaking the fear is even possible and the episodic play makes even more sense a portable.
Legacy of Kain Series - What the fuck happen there. Another Eidos title, it just kinda went to shit. It had a lot going for it before Soul Reaver 2. Not really Sony's fault. Eidos got lazy. Glad SquareEnix never told them to touch it again actually.
