    Stupid fucking kid.

Shoulda raped the child. It learns em to be alert, and it's fun the whole family can enjoy.

I meant that no matter how I make a rape joke out of this; it wouldn't be funny.

You're right. It certainly wasn't funny.

Stupid joke, and the "fun for the whole family" thing only works when it's incest, which it isn't in this case (unless Mere's parents' friends are relatived to them).

    Does saving ones self count?

Dang, that was quite a story. I was afraid you were going to slip off.

Yeah, one time when I was working as a life guard. One girl got swept out by a huge wave and passed out from a lack of oxygen. I performed CRP and saved her life.

Wow, Nin was a sexy lifeguard? Won't you give me CPR?

Dunno if this really counts, but when I was in high school, I had a friend that was really depressed 'cause of friend/girl troubles. When I found out, I stayed with him and talked for a few hours. Was he depressed enough to be suicidal? I dunno. But afterwards, he thanked me for listening to his problems and felt much better. I like to think that I made a vital difference in that juncture of his life.

I was the one who said it was going to be inappropriate before it happened- kudi asked for it, blame him.

I don't mind inappropriate jokes, but your's was simply dull. Don't blame Kudi for your unfunny joke.

  11. I don't expect much from that person anyway.

  12. I crashed at a friend's. The house was all musty so I crack open a window before going to sleep. Sometime during the night a couple of us woke up nauseous and vomiting. Apparently, someone did some late night cooking and didn't completely shut off the gas range. If the window hadn't been cracked, the concentration of gas would have been enough to kill everyone in the house, including me.

  13. Yes, i used to save the poor worms in the rain by picking them up and putting them in puddles. Years later I realized I was worm Hitler.

  16. I'm watching for stories from people with life-saving training. I took the first half (theory) of the first level of EMT (for paramedics) and had some Red Cross certifications, but thankfully have never had to use a bit of it.

I was freaking terrified I'd fall off.
To keep the story short, I left one thing out. There was only a railing on one side of the catwalk. On the other side, and running parallel to the catwalk, was a four foot pipe. Standing on the catwalk, the top of the pipe would be about 1 foot below your eye line. This left a gap of about 2 1/2 feet between the edge of the catwalk and the lower side of the pipe. If it had been a high voltage short, it could certainly have blown me off the catwalk through that gap.
I don't remember if it was a year or two before or after this that a close cousin of mine, who was a lineman in South Dakota, was killed on a high voltage tower because some incompetent moron forgot to shut the power off going to that tower. So many years ago and it still makes me sad.
