I love how the people who whine about this seem to be under the impression that the Down's girl was "targeted" in some way.
She wasn't. The trolls didn't go out to find her and make her life a misery. They didn't hunt her down and tell her she was a retard. They used her face as a joke and laughed about it behind her back with no intention that she should ever find out and be hurt by it. This kind of behaviour is analogous to laughing at someone behind their backs. Most people who went to a school where there was a retard or some other kind of lolcow will have done this but never dreamed of actually making the person unhappy. That might be distasteful, but it's completely different from bullying.
Until now, no-one knew or cared who the girl in the pic was; she was just a generic Down's girl. The girl only found out about it when some do-gooder told her about it. And *now*, since her name has been splashed all over the media and people have been shown to be butthurt about it, she actually *will* be targeted.

^These, I have seen it before, so I know the meme, meme's are just trolls and jokes for laughs, not to target anyone, anyway, if no one came up and told the girl or made a deal out of it, she wouldn't have known and the impending shit thats going to happen will not take place, cause NOW that, people make a deal out of a stupid joke, it gives trolls the ammunition to harsh and attack her and who's fault will it be ? her parents.
