Horrible Endings

  1. I liked episode 26 of NGE. I don't think it was a good way to end the series, but I loved the slice-of-life segment in the episode, and to me, that was more than enough to make up for the rest of the episode.

I was at a horribly stressful part of my life when I started watching NGE, and even though Shinji is an easily dislikable protagonist, I felt like I could relate to him a lot at that time. Seeing Shinji living a happy, normal life (even if that part wasn't real) made me really happy. It made me hope that I could have a life like that again.

  4. Maybe i'm taking the wrong meaning of the "horrible" word, but i'd say that Zeta Gundam's ending was just too "brutal". not in the "gore" or "mindrape". it was too brutal to the world it created. in less tan 10 episodes more than half of the important characters died, and most of them had "cold" deaths (jerid is a good example). even the main character had his mind destroyed.

I know that's how a "war" themed anime should be, but some characters kinda deserved a better ending

I see, so you’re team Suzaku? Everyone else was frustrated as balls over Lelouch’s ‘death’ and C.C.’s stupid random speech at the end. But this is Sunrise after all, 10 years later they’re gonna pull some bullshit season three out of their ass.

I rewatched R2 again and just stopped at the ALL HAIL LELOUCH part. That's my headcanon ending.

  6. The whole plot of Code Geass was set up in a way that Lelouch must die at the end. Letting him survive(for the second time at that) would be too American.

IMO one of the best anime endings is the ending of Casshern SINS.

  7. I like the "Lulu is immortal" theory.
