    !!!

i can't believe the people BAAAAAAAWLING over a little inconvenience.

in fact, AMAZON is a bit too high profile to peddle this stuff.

also, why buy when when you can just DOWNLOAD!? I bet the majority of phone book sized hardcopy mangas like this are made in such quality that rivals that of Charmin toilet paper!

  2. I already said that you can still find that magazine on Amazon, so I don't know why people are still talking about it. Did anyone else even look?

  3. I wish I could look into the future and see what's in the next few issues. I'm tempted to just go for a 3 month subscription as a trial to see how it's shipped and if it's worth it. If Misao or Show Higashiyama publish in the next issues, that'd be totally worth it.

There's a certain ease of "use" when viewing such material in its printed magazine form.

That's whyyou want to buy them. Also it helps the authors.

Donate to the authors if you like them, stuff should be free a priori. Artists should want people to look/read their stuff, money is the consequence, not the cause.

I mean, I don't see how someone becomes an artist for the riches, tell any parent that you want to be an artists and they'll warn you about how you'll be poor!

We should start a counter on all the times that is posted on these forums. I can vaguely remember 4 times.

That quote use to be all over the front page years ago in all the Agnes Chan and Unicef articles.

That, and that one Voltaire quote about freedom of speech.

Uh? Why wouldn't people admit to like comic LO?

  11. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with Comic LO being a lolicon comic.

cheap tablet PCs (non-ipad) > toilet paper

authors aren't helping themselves if they only want their works to be seen on a toilet paper.

look at other doujin artists thrive and make money rain on sites like dlsite.com/

I doubt I'm the only one who would rather have a physical copy than a digital copy.

oh and publishers behind COMIC LO aren't so business savvy (breaking the middle-man like amazon and setting up their own site like dlsite.com for example) ... so imo they deserve to get pummeled by the likes of wakabacci

becoz some of us will have our shit confiscated by the fuzz, if it were to get out that we like the stuff. Due to certain ultra conservative anti porn fags.

I like to collect things so I'd prefer a physical copy a lot more

And I handle all my books with maximum respect, not a single stain can be found on them

Hey not a bad idea. It's always available on exh shortly after the release anyway but I guess a physical copy would be a pretty cool thing to have.
    >mailman opens my package
And I don't even need to worry about that.

The worst thing is the shipping however. It's twice as much as the magazine itself if you want it fast.

*GASP* So there is a way to get it imported. OMG OMG OMG! I wanna subscribe! B-but, how do they package it? What if some mailman opens my package and gets me in trouble or something? Also, I notice they've got some good stuff on sale. It's been awhile since I last shopped at cdjapan. Looks like I'm about to go on a shopping spree.

if you get it from DHL Air then DHL staff only check for dangerous chemical substances

Source: talked to the DHL delivery man and I asked him why my amazon.jp box (with shrink-wrapped Cardcaptor Sakura bluray inside, untouched) was partially opened.

DHL air pricing is pretty hefty though... 2,000 yen.

Digital copies of ero is always preferable, because the bits can't get sticky.
