   Spare me the jargon of where this "Should go" or whatever - This is for the purposes of Discussion HERE.

   Every Anime has a definitive "AMV" that basically someone captures the essence of or get's the right song or "mood" for this is THAT AMV for "Steins; Gate" - I stumbled on this and it's REALLY well made. It literally bends the Anime clips to the whimsy of the song while also making interlaced cultural 'in-jokes' clips that all flow seamlessly together....that it is actually editing 'Poetry in Motion'

   One could argue with "Gosick", "Nichijou", and "Steins gate" 2011 was quite a "scientific" year for Anime.

   **PS - STFU if this AMV is old news, I'm talking about it now. Cause I was impressed by it!- so there. **

   It only had a few hundred hits and YouTubes "LoliWithAnExcaliborg" was plugging it. It's pretty awesome new or old - I'm sure someone here hasn't seen it.

   It's very good.
   But this is still my favorite AMV for that song because it makes me think of Washu chan and her crazy antics.

   Hmm Crossfade is quite a decent amv maker but I wouldnt go so far as to say its the definitive one for Steins Gate. Personally my two favourite SG amvs are linked below hopefully. I found the second video Warp was very well done considering it was made in an Iron Chef amv competition.

    Thinking back, Steins;Gate wasn't really that bad was it? Think I was too harsh on it at the time because of it's, imo, incredibly incredibly annoying fanbase.

    Especially on Kurisu methinks.

    Think I thought of it as being really shallow and immature because of it's fanbase at the time tbh. Looking back now, it doesn't seem that way - very immature and stupid and etc I guess, as caring about all that stuff reduced how much I enjoyed watching the show.

    edit. Either way, don't worry I'll be going now. Didn't change password yesterday. So you guys can return to living your lives.

    It's tough, being this charismatic and awesome in general.

    I agree we could all make "versions" of this AMV - but that's why THIS one is soo cool, someone actually 'Made It'. The dancing, a anime/culture refs, the moving cut-outs of Okabe lipsyncing crisply, the clips used against the lyrics - it was a wonder for the eyes.

    The Warp one is superbly edited but it's only effectual if you've seen the whole Anime. What I like about "Poetry in Motion" is it will entertain & intrigue a viewer who has no knowledge of "Steins; Gate" - the adding of "Nichijou" clips for example add's the whimsy and personality of the music as well.

    Opinions vary and everyone had their fav's - I think you mean you wanted something totally "Original" and a FRESH take on "Steins" - which I can get behind - I.E. this is a "K-On!" spoof of Yui and it's soo minimalist Yet fuckin' hysterical for the mix of accent, clips, and words used.

    When I say "Original" I think you mean this?...This is awesome for people who don't even watch Anime - it's editing, clips, & timing is Perfect!
