(btw, I don't think he's back on earth in that ending. He could have just as easily stayed on a piece of the citadel. Maybe.)

So many people are saying people are mad about the "bad" ending. But I think they are really mad is that no matter what you do, you get the same ending.. just different colors. Where were the "there isn't any a, b, c, endings, there will be vastly different endings based on your choices during the previous games and this one"? The rage is their own creation.
As the "angry" guy talks about.. what happened to sheppard? when did he just start accepting what the npc wanted? .. I seem to remember being able to try and convince or use force to change the way a npc responded. But I guess they couldn't be bothered.
Also not sure I blame the creators.. cause this kinda stuff is usually from some idiot higher in the company chain, not understanding anything, just wanting to rush it so he can get his cash bonus.Posted 3 years ago # -

I mean, I saved the Krogan and told the Salarians to go fuck themselves - the universe needs more Krogan (not really but hey I could make the choice and I did). I was expecting to see Wrex as the proud father of his son(s) and/or daughter(s) who just killed their first trasher maw. I wanted to see who got on the now more than ever united council (go Ashley.. become a second shepard!). I wanted to see Tali working with the Geth. I wanted to see the Rachni queen as part of the council! Not sure how that would work, having to talk through dead/dieing people might not leave a good impression.In the cutscene where the space-fight breaks out I wanted to see all my assembled assets for a few seconds. Didn't see shit.. all pre-rendered or at least a static pre-determined thingy. I wanted to proof the AI brat wrong and show how the Synthetics and Organics can get along just fine. Why the fuck have I been gathering war assets when all it does is show shepard still isn't quite dead yet. I wanted to see Liara raise my kid, at least I was under the impression that I got her pregnant or whatever it's called for Asari. Did have that odd scene where all you see is blackspace, assumed that to be a mind meld. Oh please Liara, have my babies!

So yeah it turns out the shitty ending was caused by bad writing OR
as new evidence shows Shepard might've been a victim of the Reaper's indoctrination all this time. Meaning the ending was fake, just a dream/illusion, it never happened. So now you need to keep your ME3 copy with your saves and wait for Bioware to sell you the "real" ending DLC.
You know a lot of it makes sense but I still think they're giving Bioware writers too much credit and reading too deep into this, while Bioware is like "Hey nice one! We never thought of that!".
And even if it's true, putting a "it was all just a dream" ending in your game is still cheap.Posted 3 years ago # -

i'd like to add to my previous comment that the choices prior to the ending has no real value other than to get the "proper" ending. this means indoctrinated theory or not, bioware has yet to deliver what they promised. it's as if i bought a car but was given a plane. sure, a plane is cooler & more interesting, but it's not what i want or need.
