Hi.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts. You've been much more helpful than other forums.I've been getting the size issue from a few people, girls in particular. I will definitely talk to the toy maker, and see what can be done. I guess you'd recommend something the size of a hand or keychain?
I've gotten plenty of comments that he is too plain, the recommendation for custom options i do like. Perhaps I will try and find ways to add custom color accesories like hats or other things.
And yes, my intention was to release stories and such to get people acquainted with the character first. We just thought it would be interesting to see how the funding project would be.
If the toy project does not make it by the deadline, I will certainly take your input and modify the toy concept.

You're trying to raise over 9,000 dollars.....
That made me facepalm. Do you really need that much money for this little independent venture? You can't beat kogepan.

i agree with antika. and he can make a brand kind of like kidrobot and his MUNNY line.
Also if you can make one that looks like stocking i'll buy it!

Where I come from Antika and Syk are legendary creatures:
Antika is a succubus of hell; she's described as having long wavy red hair, fangs as sharp as razors, and plump behind that would even drive a castrated monk insane. She gains her strength through mating but specifically targets young boys because their tears give her strength and help maintain her youth - she's been known even to partake in sadistic torture to ensure she gets her daily quantity of shota tears.
Syk on the other hand is wandering ghost; she's often depicted as having the palest of skin and the blackest of hair while wearing lolita/victorian clothing. She's known to be a shy creature that roams around the forests popping up occasionally to play with humans but more often than not she spends time taking care of her bunny minions who have been known to attack those that displease her or disrespect the forest that she calls home.

We're keeping in mind that it resembles other characters in certain ways. There will be more additions to differentiate. But I agree, at its very basic level, the character might be too basic. We're working on it.

Lol, you got it almost right. Vampire, not Succubus. Also, Succubi maintain their beauty but sucking the life force of people, not their tears. Now, how did you know about the young boys? Do I have to kill you too?
And Syk should be a Princess, not a Ghost. JS.
I'd like to see those two you just described drawn though.

If your looking to use a "brand" of such simple design. It needs to be Cleaner... and I mean stylize it. The thing should be vectorized in real life. Simple is only simple if you can very well see the edges and percieve cleanliness.

I think you've got me kind of thinking. Perhaps you can elaborate on your ideas a bit more? You're saying the facial expression and other body parts only succeed if they can be vectorized as flat shape?
