(MATURE CONTENT) - Traps (Transition Discussion)

  1. Would I no longer be a trap once I got surgery, or do traps always remain traps?

And at what point is a new half a new half? Is it when they have boobs?

  6. To clarify, im transgender in transition, so I have natural breasts from estrogen and hips and stuff.

But havent had surgery yet (thats down the road).

But anyway I found it, according to that thread im a "shemale", but thats a derogatory term in the LGBT community, so Ill just stick with ladyboy.

    *PS* My thread broke Sancom

    CHOP IT OFF =X..
@Reika - Anyway I was thinking how does breast grow in transgender, do they keep growing rapidly until the reach the correct size. Normal girls have em tru puberty and grow along as they grow up. So if ur a trans at lets say 25 after ur puberty, how does the breast grow?

  9. =/ but if you chop it off you cant use it to make you a new half...

  11. If you really are transgender, then transgender is what you are. Ladyboy is just as derogatory as shemale. They're generally considered porn terms.

Maybe you want to differentiate between having a penis and not, but to be quite honest I'm not sure how many people you're gonna want to tell you have a penis, if you're transitioning and want to be seen as a woman.

Also, I can't see why a transgender person would want to been seen as a trap. Traps are boys... you don't want to be a boy. Traps are different anyway, they're essentially really convincing crossdressers.

Not sure about new halfs. I know they have boobs, but I'm not sure about whats happening downstairs with them.

They take hormones (estrogen). They usually don't get to the same size as a regular woman's do. Transgender people often have boobs jobs.

The penis isn't chopped off, its inverted and turned into a vagina.

Correct Correct and more correct XD

But as for telling people im transgender, I do not have an issue with it, I hardly doubt Ill meet any of you and its refreshing to be able to state it instead of having to wonder if someone is going to out me at any second.

  13. if you have a penis but can get mistaken for a girl, you're a trap. that part is easy.
after the surgery, you can see yourself as just another girl. isn't that the point?

I'm not 100% sure, but before surgery you're called m2f transsexual, and afterwards you're m2f transgender. (one points to the psychological and the other to the physical)

"post-op" is also a term used... but it can be considered derogatory too.

if you *Really* want a doozy to think about... if after the surgery you are attracted to your old gender are you gay or straight? ;)

Now for a personal question, how old were you when you started hormone treatment and how much did your breasts grow?
actually, what's the overall biggest change you've experienced?

If you have surgery you would no longer have dates. Trap aficionados want penis.
    Gays want Penis.
Heterosexuals want a woman who was BORN a woman.

Your dating pool would drop dramatically. As would your sex drive because of the lack of balls.

My advice is this. Ask everyone who has had it done you can find ESPECIALLY those who regret it. You do not want to change your mind on this later.

And yes new half is when they have boobs. Tits may be a LOT less dramatic surgery and is completely reversible.

Understandable. Still, calling yourself transgender is better than using the porn terms, but obviously its your choice.

In case you're wondering how I know so much...
I had a friend who I found out was a female to male, about to start transitioning. (He later went off to uni and I didn't hear from him again.)
I ended up doing a lot of research into transsexuality because of that. I'm now a huge supporter of the trans-community and like to educate people about it if I can.

ladyboy is a southern asian term. Can I assume you are thai or filipino? They do make the most convincing traps.

  17. I started estrogen a year ago, first with a patch, and now im on injections.

Ive been in transition for two years, but it took 8 months of therapy and doctors to convince anyone I wasn't just b/sing.

My breasts are probably halfway between an A and a B cup (USA sizes).

As for changes... God the list is endless...

    1. Appearance is 'softer'.. only way I know how to put it
    2. Skin gets physically softer
    3. Obviously breast growth
    4. Sexual mentality changes quit a bit, before as a guy it was like .. "OMG GIRL ASS BOOBS FUUUUUUCK HER DOGGY STYLE" now its all "Shes sooo pretty and nice, I wish I could hold her and kiss her and ooooooo"
    5. You cry all the time >.<, for no reason.
    6. You dont have that macho man feeling anymore, where you have to compete with everything or "man up". Men seem stupid and strange now with all their macho behaviors, and I used to work out and hang out with a Marine.
    7. It hasn't happened to me, maybe a bit but not fully, but a lot of trans say their sexual preference changes. I still really love girls, but I find certain men a bit more interesting than before.
    8. You lose pretty much all that muscle mass and hair you had with T blocker... (sadly im having problems getting that prescribed, since there is side effects)
    9. Also along with #4 masturbation Isn't like a pass time like it used to be, I dont just get horny all of a sudden and rub one off. I have to actually be in the mood and stuff, its weird to explain, though it does explain why my previous girlfriends would be into it one moment than ehhhh.
    10. Probably the most changes though are social changes that you cant control, how people perceive and interact with you.

Don't worry you'll get used to it, its perfectly normal. You'll gradually appreciate what its like to be a real woman and why they think so lowly of typical men.

  19. have you experienced weight gain? i've heard you tend to get chubbier on hormones. Also keep regular checkups, taking hormones not chromosomally accurate for you can cause an increased cancer risk.

This is really interesting; you wouldn't think the change in mentalities would be so night-and-day.
