I doubt that there is absolutely no catch in giving these away for free...

Though I think DAZ3D is actually more of a platform on which people use purchased models to use on. In fact, for DAZ3D alone, I thought it's always been free.

Well, I do remember that they gave away Poser 5 for free once(back when Poser 7 was already out). I remember it because everyone was so crazy that it crashed their servers.

Hexagon and Bryce already have better, latest versions or what? I don't really follow this company's software so I don't know much.

I partook in all their free products which came out to savings of $2,500+. But I never plan to use any of these programs so it's all moot anyway.
