    I think what Panasonic needs is a good advertising campaign sorta along the lines what Apple did back in the 90s with the think different ads or like what Ford did recently by having Mike Rowe asa spokes person.

    They should get a slogan and some stars who appeal to people who actually have money to pitch the products.

    Higher quality plasma TV do generally have better pictures then LCDs heck even DLPs are better then any Chinese LCD display.

    Panasonic Plasma's already highly regarded in quality among O.C.D. and aspy crowd... now they just gotta push something that could also appeal to the larger crowd to stop the bleeding (at least for their TV division)

    I'd target the upper middle class types as they tend to want stuff that is a cut above the walmart crowd and stuff that can match their decor.
    A lot of new TVs quite frankly look like shit and don't fit in any decor scheme.
    This will involve hiring some industrial design firms and doing some test marketing as a cutting edge design also can be very risky but the pay off if successful is high.
