It seems Iran has banned Barbie dolls and kids are less then happy with the replacements.
Most amusing is that the culturally correct dolls have unibrows.

I had barbies when i was a kid and I didn't really give a shit about or pay attention to their "perfect" bodies. they were just pretty and i liked to play with them. adults always over think things.

Naturally these dolls are not as high in popularity as Barbie herself, but they do have decent sales and are still being produced every year.
It's head-shaking how people think a doll is single handily the cause of social concern.
