Hello,i'm from china. I found a problem.

  2. What?

  3. I agree kinda.

Here's the version translated by google.

The news page as if controlled by Communists, all the news about China are filtered, you are receiving tragic brainwashing education.
Only about a country's shortcomings and negative news will not help the expansion of knowledge. We think we need to all aspects of the news services, both positive and negative.

  9. Everybody knows China isn't really communist. Didn't y'all see the Versailles-like head offices of that pharmaceutical company?

  10. Nobody likes China because of those poor standards. nobody likes australia because they made women with small boobs illegal. nobody likes japan because they arrest all those pseudo kid molesters and anime banning ishihara fanboys. nobody likes Germany or France or England because of other reasons. Hell nobody likes america because of George Bush junior.
Sure the china bashing on this site has grown quite a lot over the last months. But soon this will become boring and another country will be the target of incredible facepalm reactions. Oh well, cant say it will become boring^^ but the target will change.

  11. Sorry Konoka but there's a reason those articles exist and it's because these people keep reading them. You won't be getting any sympathy from this crowd.

    对不起Konoka,但有一个原因,这些条款的存在,这是因为这些人继续阅读。你不会得到任何同情这个人群。

No, this has always been the case. Almost since the site began.

At some phase in 2009 I think there was more of a Korea bashing phase. The reason for this is because Arte likes to get his sources from Japanese sources (at least from the beginning), which naturally bashes both China and Korea. Apart from the sex stuff, making fun of otakus and occasional funny Ishihara news, Japan is almost never bashed; which would be consistent with the tone of news from Nippon.

This is a weeaboo (I assume this means only obsession with Japanese, and not Asian culture, in general) blog after all frequented by weeaboos.

Artefact usually rips news off Itai News, a Japanese blog. Doesn't matter how fast other sites get it; Itai News' signature is to include 2ch's response, which is obviously what matters to him and most people in here because they're Japanese.

The shift in balance to news on China is not unique; BBC, which I frequently read simply because Firefox comes with its RSS feeds, has been featuring more and more news, magazines, editorials and pundits' 'analysis' on China since right before their takeover as world's second biggest economy. Hell, even local TV stations around here feature more news and magazines on China.

Also, lol to anyone who thinks Sankaku Complex would have enough influence to smear China's image; EVERY NON-CHINESE NEWS OUTLETS ARE FULLY EXPLOITING ANY NEGATIVE CHINA NEWS NOW. Perhaps the OP was so sheltered by local censorship that he didn't have an idea what the hell other media outlets are saying about them...!

  16. I agree with what this dude's saying, all the Chinese related "articles" are very anti-chinese

  17. sankaku isn't a legit news site >_>
all the news feed is porn, anime related, and any actual news about anything else is tragic or epic.

    There's really a pattern
Japan- school girls selling pantsu, loli getting banned, underage rape/prostitution, and aya hirano.

China- have alot of people, exploding appliances(and apparently fried chicken), and recycles waste.

I don't think anyone in the right mind would have their perspectives about either nations affected by sankaku's choice of news articles ~_~''' I don't think we users want to come on this site and see positive articles of how great the world is... it would be pretty boring.

The reception towards China's rise is not the same as it was for Japan's. After all, one is America's lapdog and another is from the other side of Iron Bamboo Curtain.
When Japan rose, people wanted to know more about their culture and many in the West turned Weeaboo. When China rose, it got more of a mixed reception.

It's very inviting to bash modern China. After all, they have all the stereotypical traits of a third world country. Yes, they have super-rich people and world class cities (Shanghai/HK) as well, but in many areas poverty in 3rd world conditions is still prevalent.

    -ve stuff
    - Totalitarian govt with heavy censorship, human rights violations and corruption, typical of many 3rd world countries
    - Nobody gives a shit about safety, quality control and the environment
    - Nobody cares about their fellow countrymen - living under a commie government can do that to you (the irony)
    - Mainland Chinese tend to be uncultured, crude, backwards and obnoxious (this was a perception amongst overseas Chinese/HK folks and even Shanghai locals towards people from other parts of China in the past decades - not sure about nowadays). I think this is due to the poverty it suffered and also the commie revolution -> the peasants took over and the middle and upper classes fled the country or were impoverished, this is the result
    - They are dodgy and would con you for a buck at any opportunity (the times I've been there as a tourist, I've observed this).

    +ve stuff
    - The Chinese (actually Asians in general) are really hardworking. Way more than the Westerners.
    - They are the world's 2nd largest economy after all
    - A lot of diverse cultures (believe it or not), which has been integrated for millenia. Its as if the Roman or Persian empire lasted till today. Kinda like India, except India was not unified for such a long time.
    - Without the factories in China, most of your stuff would have been more expensive
    - China acts as a balance to the power of the US in the world

Then again, I have never lived in China, so I may be off from the truth.

Agreed. As Yu said, this is not a real news blog, its a tabloid. Artefact mentioned before that all he cares about is page views. So sex, anime and bashing it is.

I like them plus, often times they have pictures. Are you telling me that there isn't some China equivalent goofing on America? I've seen stories about horrible things in Japan & Korea here as well, it's just China seems to suck more often.

  20. If it wasn't for SanCom, I wouldn't have learned that there was an apartment building in China that snapped cleanly at its foundations.
