So if Japan passes this law, will the entire H-game/anime industry pack up and move to California?
As good as this may be, it wouldn't make any sense moving something distinctly J to the US.

This country was born out of a tax revolt. I, like many other Americans, am quite frankly sick of DC dictating what we can and can't do in too many aspects of our lives. Liberal interpretations of the interstate commerce clause and necessary and proper clause of the Constitution have enabled the federal leviathan to grow to a size and power that would have our Founders rolling in their graves. Why can't California make medical marijuana or late term abortions legal without DC saying "we'll still enforce federal prohibitions anyway"? It's ridiculous. The federal government was created as a vehicle of the states, not the other way around.
Much like the way US Attorny General (Obama's Pet) Eric Holder has been attacking & blocking the State of Arizona from Enforcing immigration laws. They have personally attacked Gov. Jan Brewer in various 'court battles' because she's trying to empower her states Police to detain Illegal Aliens. Where as California has many citys known in Mexico as "Santuary Cities" where cops just catch & release.
Obama will sick the Fury of the FED after your company if you try to move it from a Unionized State to one that is 'Less Union controlled'. Next Week Obama will declare War on Walmart I think....they are the largest Private Employer in America.

Aren't conservatives usually the ones opposed to the legalization of drugs and abortions?

Liberal, or loose, as opposed to strict. There are about 70 different definitions of the word "liberal" and I'm using the one that has to do with interpreting the Constitution.

Because of certain business laws, businesses have to be owned by majority of domestic owners to run their businesses in US.
Also, with all the taxes in California they be bankrupt before they could release a single title.
It would be easier just to move to south korea, where all the cheap animation labor is located.
I'm sorry for absences due to heavy work in these days.
Thanks for your many posts.

Um..."to California" might be difficult,i thought... Because, please see below articles for some example cases;
http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2009/05/manga-porn/
"U.S. Manga Obscenity Conviction Roils Comics World" (May 28,2009)
(partial quote) ...In an obscenity first, a U.S. comic book collector has pleaded guilty to importing and possessing Japanese manga books depicting illustrations of child sex abuse and bestiality...
Recently in japan, the day's program of the discussing this issue, has been front-loaded to 9.August sooner in the japanese National Assembly. The situation is getting worse....
Also, inside 2ch.net in japan, there are existing plenty of employed(?) political network-agents to deceive many japanese Otaku to the left to the right, or the right to the left. And other big communities have been destroyed with some heavy political agitations or radical attackings in these 3-years.
So the unified foot work are difficult to unite one, and some main otaku volunteers have left this civilian activities due to thier heavy daily-income-works or changings of life-space residence in these years.
If i could get some time to prepare and build a forum about this issues, I'd be happy...although in time now, I'm too busy...orz
I would welcome your continuous suggestions, many thanks.
With best regards.
