Um, yes, I'm japanese Otaku, and recently, this critical situation has began getting worse and worse for a lot of H-Manga and Anime in japan. Now a japanese National Assembly has begun to try discussing whethere include 2D-graphics (Manga, Anime, Doujinshi) as a child porn or not, under the heavily political suppressions by UNICEF-japan, ECPAT and other japan-feminism civilians groups, and still proceeding, from 25/June/2011.
(*Notice: real U-18 child photos and movies have been already prohibited to sell,create, exhibit, negotiate, etc., and prostitution in japan since 1999 ).
So, some japanese otaku noticed this worse flow and fears these too bad flowing situations of attacks to Manga & Anime, so am I. (Of cource, i don't have child porn and no-P2P.) If this 2D-graphics-included law would have approved in about last of August 2011, the next year japanese big Doujinshi festal Comiket, and almost all expression of Anime and H-games(so called an Eroge) might be heavely damaged in usual expression, or prohibited drawing impractical U-18 sexual charactor and also, punishment simple possessions of H-Anime and Manga.
In japan, the Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito party with UNICEF-japan and ECPAT feminist groups eager to prohibit japanese Anime and Manga (= drawing the impractical U-18 sexual character, or simple possesion of the impractical U-18 sexual appearance) as a child porn for these 4-5 years. But the Democratic Party Japan and the Socialist Democratic Party and the Communist Party and other tread warily about this important issues. Now is the time very critial situation for almost all japanese otaku, and for Anime & Eroge fan in foreign countries.
Although there are NO many otaku who raise opinions and actions against this critical situation in japan...orz
