...Actually I can't help laughing at the title of the thread, but plenty of people in the Japanese voiceacting scene is treating the whole thing like the Apocalypse.

- The guy in the picture kissing her shut his Twitter account down and disappeared.

- Suddenly plenty of her merchandise is up for sale at Amazon(comments saying 'I ain't buying that shit')

- Death threats is also coming, of course("Your life ain't any longer now.")

As of this writing, Hirano and her management is still keeping silent. No retaliations from her like we'd usually see on her Twitter. She probably ain't really giving a shit though; pretty sure some rich guy's gonna pick her up, FOR THE TIME BEING, heheheh.

I don't really give a shit about her. Just that the whole circus is amusing, I can't help but follow, in between updating sales statistics and kicking ass in SSFIV(PC). Why is it that in a society where girls being virgins well into their twenties are laughed at, people are hounding her as if she fucked a buffalo that will cause another off-shore earthquake? Cultures are different, sure, but the guys hating her(and former diehard fans that just started to) aren't old geezers accustomed to the old manners.

I really couldn't care less about what Aya would like to do in her life, but I can't help but feel somewhat strange seeing clips of Konata or Haruhi now. I adored her voice acting on both characters, and knowing I'm listening to someone who caused a sex scandal feels somewhat strange.

But in the end, I can't say I mind. I actually feel really sorry for her with all this hullabaloo her ex-fans are whipping up.

Duh, because of people like you. You said it yourself, you don't actually care about her, her feelings or her circumstances. You patronize the articles and attention to her yet turn around acting like your not part of the very issue your complaining about. I doubt many have an actual hate for her, they're just bored, and she's unfortunate.

I'm only laughing at her, if we're talking Hirano personally. I just wonder about those other people who care so much that they'd put death threats. And yeah, death threats over the Net can be a big deal in Japan, ever since that Akihabara stabber who posted his intentions on 2ch beforehand.

And hey, I'm bored, yeah. That's why I am reinstalling Oblivion on my PC. 10+GBs of data don't just finish in 10 seconds ya know, lol.

I never watched ANY anime of Aya Hirano...ONLY know one song by her which is God knows...I don't know how old she is, what anime she voice acted in, what music she did...I no fucking nothing about her...

All I know is that we have a young woman who built up a career with her TALENT and as lifeless otaku been confronted with the fact she's a perfectly normal human being with private life they started a boycott and insulting session...

To be honest ppl who judge her because she dared to have a personal life and she dared to talk about it should just go kill themselves...
I might have no life myself but I would rather cut my own internet cable and afterwards my wrist before judging ppl like these scum do...

Why is there a thread for this? I think we all would have simply decided that this is not worth talking about. She had sex with someone she works with and now people know. What the fuck ever; the guy didn't get an STD from her.

She doesn't do much to make people actually dislike her, it just seems that all her fans/followers are bitter for having signs of a life outside of her profession and a personality that can't be curbed my their comments; Everyone else bandwagons on that hate.
