They can try to ban lolicon, but how many blogs are there where you can get it? How many sites sharing files? How many download sites participate? I looked for 'lolicon' in the new microsoft search engine - you can have as much as you want. Google too. It seems no one is very interested in suppressing it, even as they shout about it being a great EVIL. (If you surf from Germany, a search for lolicon in the microsoft engine gives you NO returns. I guess microsoft doesn't practice not being evil, like google. lol) You will not win the censorship battle. You will win a battle of common sense however. That's something.
Thanks for the head ups. Though actually it doesn't matter from where you surf. So far the restrictions are based on the country you choose in the preferences, not on your IP. I wonder if they change it in the future and filter search results based on IP. Though anyone can use a proxy, it could be pretty annoying/frustrating for some people.

It's not the sites hosted in these countries,
it's the sites that are meant to be accessible in these countries according to the search engines. But for now it's a kinda "voluntary" search filtering (except for newbies who use only their localized search page/site).
