Sadly, there are equally inept laws that make even less sense today. Warning pedestrians and other motorists of a female driver(OP) certainly makes more sense than Japan putting mosaics on genitals. hehehe

In my neck of the woods, people think that prohibiting littering in the streets is stupid.
But when a tropical storm hits, those same idiots fall victim to floods resulting from the trash they wantonly threw out blocking the sewerage system.
Then they cry out to the government bigwigs for help when their homes get swept away.
Makes me lol every time.
