I for one aspire to get better at TERA and be able to solo more BAMs. I look up to the skilled players i meet and those in my guild who can do some pretty crazy shit and hope to learn from them and become better myself. But alot of people have forgotten how great that feeling is when you finally accomplish a goal/something difficult since so many things are indeed handed out now. Even if they ARE feelgood things and a first place exists if EVERYONE gets a prize then even a 1st place prize kinda isn't that special anymore.

I am playing Tera because of my experience playing Monster Hunter.
Whenever I bring Tera up in a conversation I always mention Monster Hunter. However, not a single time I mentioned Monster Hunter has someone known what game I was talking about...

Btw, not trying to jack up Tera thread, but i remember someone post Blade and Soul thread on sancom, but i never really go check it out, until my friend post a char creation of the game...and i'm like
There seems to be a lot more customization than Tera, but what's the hell is going on with recent Korea MMORPG? I'm seeing less Ragnarok Online and more Illusion Soft stuff...

They announced that they're going to give Blade & Soul "the most profound character customisation to date" though. Look forward to it.

I'm just wondering when it;s coming out and by the gods they better not censor the Lyn. If they don;t i will be jumping ship from TERA in a second well depending on the combat but yeah no censor equals instant plus.

You know what's funny?
Two or three models of Blade and Soul's quality is much easier for a typical gaming PC to process than two or three models of Illusion's. And Illusion's look a bit worse(Sexy Beach Zero at max for comparison).
If Illusion bothered to integrate GPU processing into their games, LIKE EVERY OTHER DEVELOPERS DO SINCE THE 90s, more people would have been able to play their feces of a game.
...However, being able to create that wet looking, hot slut isn't enough for me to start playing MMOs without a friend insisting(why I'm soon getting into Tera). Unless of course we can see them have hardcore sex like Illusion's games, then maybe I'd consider.

I think I remember reading in one of the developer interviews that they definitely want to release B&S outside of Asia, although I don't remember which interview it was. I think I read it on the B&S Dojo.

Well, its just example of sex sales thingy. Illusion soft is famous for big size game but no content whatsoever...I dunno what the fuck they are doing though.

I'm mostly interested in Blade & Soul because it's a martial arts MMO. I'm totally playing as a gweonsa (fist master) when it comes out.

Problem with B&S is the racial locked classes.

I am level 31 in Tera! It has been a few days since I have even tried to level up though... I am waiting for one of my irl friends to catch up to my level.
Don't forget to get the lvl 33 armor set off the AH soon, that way you can pwn face.
Also did you notice how overpriced the level 27 armor/weapons stuff is? It is even more expensive than some of the level 40 stuff.

lvl53 don't think I'll get to play much this weekend though, have to do some programming in C# and I've no idea how long it's going to take.
teratome which is basically wowhead for Tera is starting to shape up btw, if I get some overview of which runes etc drop where I'd already have 90% of the functionality I'd want.
