   Master Evil The Return!
   

   OK guys, as we all know sony has been trying to compete with nintendo and they are bring out new games as well as a 3D tv and glasses, I was just wondering what everyone thought on the gimmeck the PS3 is trying with 3D, we all know the 3Ds may have a hand in this and not to mention sony, decided to "copy" nintendo with the PS3 move and all the latest titles are going to be based around the play station move. Makes you wonder if nintendo may have a upper hand with their ideas(tho they have executed the wii horrible, trying to improve with the wii-u) against sony and microsoft seeing as they both decided to bulid around the idea, will nintendo finally pull sony down or will sony "USE" nintendo's ideas and continue to advance(even with the last hits to their brand) give your thoughts.

I REPEAT PLEASE RE-FRAME FROM FANBOY FAGGOTRY!!, lets be honest, no one can find it suspicious that a few months after the wii motion, sony and microsoft bring out their gimmicks THEN right after the 3Ds they are bringing out 3D stuff, please don't tell me its a coincidence, because we both know thats bullshit.

   if you dumbasses had a company you would do the same and copy stuff from other companies to compete with the hard competition

   You say "trying to compete with Nintendo" like it's a bad thing and like they're bad at doing so. Not quite, really. 3D is all the rage now. The share of 3D TVs is rising, so it's a good idea of Sony to tap into this. I recently saw Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides in 3D, and the effect was pretty great. I'd be very interested in playing games with 3D effect as well, even if it doesn't really add much of value. Nintendo proved how profitable it is to grab hold of the casual gamer market. 3D doesn't get in the way of gameplay because it's optional, so it doesn't hinder those who don't want it either.

   What the faack are you saying? The number of units sold was enormous, the profit made off it is gigantic. Those facts alone are rock-hard proof that the execution of the Wii was great. I get a strong feeling that you're just dissatisfied because you didn't get enough realistic looking opportunities to beat up some teenage white boys and take their lunch money. (But honestly, you should give beating up Goombas a try. You can even buy mushrooms with their money.)

   Sony is not "copying" Nintendo with 3D. The entire movie and TV industry is "trying" to shift to 3D ever since Avatar came out.

   I do hope you realize that Sony has made 3D TVs and 3D games long before the 3DS was even announced. If anything, Nintendo is copying from Sony.

   But no, they're merely joining in the 3D bandwagon.

   The only 3D in my life that matters is my wife's body.

   Much better shooting your load while enjoying a 3D girl.

   As for 3D movies/games, it's called real life, and is usually much superior in the execution. Granted, sometimes the real world is simply really not the point. I often prefer to escape from the real world, 3D included.

   I'm ok sometimes with my anime and my games being artificial.

    Sony already has the opportunity to make their PSV an optional controller for the PS3 but what developers would try so much as to build for that? I don't think too many US companies would care and no japanese company would.

    That misuse of vocabulary almost gave me a stroke. Plus this doesn't bother me. What Sony loses to Nintendo in terms of hardware, Sony makes in software advancements.

    What I mean Nin is, nintendo caught the casual gamers and left the hardcore ones hanging at the side, they are very few mature titles on the wii and for some reason nintendo, NOW decided to bring the grapics up to the other consoles level, like I said the wii was a great idea but the execution was done poorly. The specs the new wii has coming out, should of been on the current wii, the aim for more mature titles, the new wii has, could of be implemented long ago.
    Nintendo did a good job catching the casual gamers and family friendly sections, however this didn't help them impression the hardcore fanbase and the specs upgrade makes me wonder if nintendo did it intentionally or may of slipped up, during the production of the wii.

    Calling you out on your English makes me feel like an asshole if you're gonna be that polite about it.

    Either way, I'm pretty sure Nintendo intentionally kept their specs low to keep the price tag light. If you're gonna aim for the unexplored market (i.e. families who have never played video games), better go for it 100%. With the U's specs being par with the PS3's and XBox360's, and boasting a large touch screen controller that has built-in speakers and all that, I really wonder what kind of price to expect.

    There is a market for that type of Entertainment. Peter pointed out that 3D been around since I could remember.The fact its been used in Movie Theaters of course It had some success in some movies like House of Wax.

    Now people want that same theater experience at home and some of them are willing to pay for it just play around with 3D.
