Nintendo Wii U

I can get this closed ? Since everyone want to just troll.

Not trolling. This should have been what Nintendo released in 2006. They will keep falling behind the current generation in terms of hardware.

And they rely too heavily on the Zelda franchise. The classic Nintendo titles are released just far enough apart to string devoted fans along. Ever since the N64, Nintendo fans have suffered droughts inbetween AAA games.

The Wii is a joke, plagued with shovelware. I more than anyone want to see Nintendo return to their glorious 16-bit era strength.

  3. The screen could work but I doubt it will be used well and also be useful.

    You mean like online play?

The examples shown in the promo vids it was one set of people using a tv with split screen, and a separate person doings something completely different with the screen on the controller.

I bet they'll make a game like that for the Wii u but it won't come over to N.A... Though it will be on blu ray that means that... It will be in the same region as N.A yeahhhhh. I wouldn't import a game like that though...

  7. Does that mean PS3 and 360 life spans will short now that a new nintendo console is coming out soon? 8 generation of gaming on it way now?

The Wii U has no bearing on the lifespan of Sony's and Microsoft's current consoles. They are in the longest lifecycle since the Genesis and Super NES.

This is who Nintendo should be listening to.

  12. For once I want one.

I really can't wait for what the home brew guys will come up with for it.
I can see it making the best media center controller ever.

  13. I like the new wii(not the name). Nintendo is the cool black sheep of the gaming industry, they try things outside the box and try to bring a more fun experience to the gaming world, with that I have to AGREE with what palmtop tiger says the wii-u is suppose to be the wii today, nintendo released the wii on specs that it shouldn't have, the wii graphics are a little above the PS2 and the wii target was casual gamers, family and kids. Even tho the wii sold more then the to other consoles, it still fell behind with the hardcore gamers because of its lack of mature titles, graphics, online support and the disapproval of the wii motion controls however this new console may prove to bring out nintendo, from there dark days.

What I like about nintendo and can't stand about the others is simple, nintendo actually tries to do something new while the other two just upped the graphics of there console, what I would like to see from nintendo is the same config like the PS3, something like a mini computer, seeing as the new control could be utilizes in some many ways, plus the ability to play ON the controller may do something new for multiplier and lan parties, the thing is, nintendo actually has a chance here, seeing as sony's name has bnut pull through the mud and microsoft is.............microsoft, I hope to see some interesting things and hopeful some more unique titles like no more heros, on the wii-u.

    An oversized DS?

Just give me a NORMAL HD console you dumbasses.
All i want is an awesome looking Metroid or Zelda, without having to deal with some crappy new controller/controls.

or a giant ipad with controls. but yea i want a regular console enough with these 3d bs and screen controllers if this is where video games r headed i'll stop my gaming right here and stick with my older games

Dude, I actually LOVED the second screen, come on, that's fucking great.

You know how UI takes space on the screen and makes the game uglier/more cramped? This can get rid of most of it. Get me an HD pokemon game with all the interface on the controller and let me see how amazing that shit would look.

I've been a PC gamer for a long time now, console gaming died to me, they NEED something new if they want to make console gaming unique. Rofl, this E3 was all about Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect, why would I play those in a console?

This was my point. The things that you can do with this hardware just seem far and beyond what we have been able to do at this point.

I think that could be well on its way. With all the games being developed for it along with a exclusive AAA game by ubisoft.

Its getting Ninja Gaiden 3 along with several other M rated games. That should tell you that getting "Hardcore" games will not be a problem. The fact that Battlefield 3, The new Batman and Ghost Recon Online also point to that conclusion.

I hope to see them become as successful as madworld and no more heros, hell am hoping for no more heros 3 or a madworld 2.

  18. Nintendo stock has plummeted since yesterday's reveal. I'm so bummed at this 360 controlled by an Ipad idea.

kinda the discs aren't actual blu rays but they are indigo laser based so they can store 25 gigs per disc.

Wii Update, cause that's what it is.
A bit too late for that though.

  20. When the ds came out and when the wii came out i think we all knew the inevitable outcome for the next system would have to be a mix between the two, the real question is, when this thing get's old what is nintendo gonna pull out of its ass to market it next.
