Dude, I actually LOVED the second screen, come on, that's fucking great.
You know how UI takes space on the screen and makes the game uglier/more cramped? This can get rid of most of it. Get me an HD pokemon game with all the interface on the controller and let me see how amazing that shit would look.
I've been a PC gamer for a long time now, console gaming died to me, they NEED something new if they want to make console gaming unique. Rofl, this E3 was all about Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect, why would I play those in a console?
This was my point. The things that you can do with this hardware just seem far and beyond what we have been able to do at this point.

I'm not sold just yet and I'm a HUGE nintendo fanboy. need killer app.
I think that could be well on its way. With all the games being developed for it along with a exclusive AAA game by ubisoft.

I like the new wii(not the name). Nintendo is the cool black sheep of the gaming industry, they try things outside the box and try to bring a more fun experience to the gaming world, with that I have to AGREE with what palmtop tiger says the wii-u is suppose to be the wii today, nintendo released the wii on specs that it shouldn't have, the wii graphics are a little above the PS2 and the wii target was casual gamers, family and kids. Even tho the wii sold more then the to other consoles, it still fell behind with the hardcore gamers because of its lack of mature titles, graphics, online support and the disapproval of the wii motion controls however this new console may prove to bring out nintendo, from there dark days.
What I like about nintendo and can't stand about the others is simple, nintendo actually tries to do something new while the other two just upped the graphics of there console, what I would like to see from nintendo is the same config like the PS3, something like a mini computer, seeing as the new control could be utilizes in some many ways, plus the ability to play ON the controller may do something new for multiplier and lan parties, the thing is, nintendo actually has a chance here, seeing as sony's name has bnut pull through the mud and microsoft is.............microsoft, I hope to see some interesting things and hopeful some more unique titles like no more heros, on the wii-u.
Its getting Ninja Gaiden 3 along with several other M rated games. That should tell you that getting "Hardcore" games will not be a problem. The fact that Battlefield 3, The new Batman and Ghost Recon Online also point to that conclusion.
