  1. I can get an Evo or better yet a Wrx and change a few things like I did in my old honda and rape your car in a race that requires you to actually do more than go in a line. Hell with the Wrx I can just rape you with stock same with the Evo. They also cost less and you get more for your money. The best part is I can still drive it everyday and not get raped on gas. Thats why imports are better That is unless your talking Camaro then thats a different story I love my Camaro best part you can turn and not be worried about spinning out of control.

Yes, they're not made in England.
Because,Gott schütze uns vor Sturm und Wind und Autos die aus England sind.

  3. Power-to-weight ratio and horsepower-per-liter. Face it, Japanese cars are more efficient at both, not to mention faster corner entry and exit speeds.

Although European, take the Lotus Elise/Exige for example. Lightweight and averaging a 2 liter engine, it will outperform most muscle cars in all aspects.

Bottom line is what your American muscle lacks is balance. They need MORE POWER to compensate for their shortcomings.

    I read turbo at first.
Is this the one with all that riding aids? Which I saw in the commercial breaks during the last SBK race on Eurosport?

    American cars fail at reliability.

This is why they're losing the game and why they have so little market share these days.

In California alone, 60% of the cars & trucks are japanese & europeon made.

I would not call American cars unreliable the most reliable engines I ever owned are the Buick 3800,small block Chevy V8,Chevy 4.3,Windsor Ford, and Ford 3.8 V6.

I owned a 70s Nova and 80s Trans Am that I modified to run high 11s and they were a daily drivers.
This was all motor no super charger, turbo, or NOS and on the TA I could get 23mpg.

Most riced civics you can't just fire up and decided to drive it hundreds of miles and have it run just fine on 89 or 90 octane.

Now some Japanese engines also are very good I have nothing bad to say about the Toyota's 22R and 6M-GE or Nissan's VQ series V6s.

BTW I out right despise hondas.

    I drive a Geo

First off you didn't mention what kind(s) of car(s) you have so it's easy to conclude you drive your Mother's Geo. Second, the fact that you obviously haven't a fucking clue what your talking about when it comes to WTF you are talking about, Mister 4 second 0-60 add a supercharge/blower (I assume you mean a Positive displacement type look that up kid you might learn something) and you instantly have a 2 second 0-60 time.... Sounds pretty fucking stupid when you read it doesn't it...Fucking Moron....
This guy is the exact reason I haven't started an Auto Thread here because I would have more idiots watching "The Fast and Furious" re-runs and reading the "Tech" articles from Super Street, AKA "Ricers"(With such worldy articles as "How to install washer lights") popping in and making retarded comments than this site has lolicons. Couple that with the absolute ignorance of "Muscle heads" (such as yourself) that spend their time looking at out-dated, antiqued, and useless motors(cause the new stuff is "Just to darn confused, right Cletis?") than 13 yr olds who just discovered internet porn. "Muscle Heads" are "ricers" but know even less about their car and just know that the steering wheel is used to get them to the unemployment office so they can pick up their Welfare Check.

Wow when you actually ever own any of these cars and can afford to race them against my Elise, 280z, VR-4, or either of my Ducati's, PLEASE PM I'LL be glad to race for pinks. Circle, Drag, or Circuit.
OH and if you ever want to know why we drive import it's easy to understand one the geometry and weight, but your mother's Geo is fairly balanced as well, and second....Lap Times.

    @ Char
The VQ's were/are good motor's but the HR are just hands downs fucking sick. Look at the difference in the 350z VQ vs HR Specs.
Yes, you can fire up a "track car", drive hundreds of miles and then race it, albeit not very smart in some cases because that's more miles on the tires. It's called a Standalone ECM, you can hold as many maps as you want if you hook your computer up to your ECM as well. Most people that have an AEM EMS or other reputable company, sans Greddy(Sorry but E-Manage Fucking Sucks) can change their "driveablity" with a button or a key clicks.

And Yes Honda is the fucking Devil

The new GT Mustang is Ugly as Sin to me, but Spec wise it sounds like Sex. Save for the no LSD(Preferably Helical type, Go QUALIFE). A guy I work wth just bought one and said it's the best handling MUSCLE car he's ever driven. But then again I just now starting to turn him to the Dark side, spending exuberant amounts of money on his vehicles, so his opinion doesn't hold THAT much water. But he's always had Mustang's, Camaro's, and the like.
